On the night of Sunday (June 19), #EknathShinde started calling MLAs to Thane. He even called MLAs of smaller parties (not AIMIM) to side with him. His message on the call to MLAs was do you want to develop your constituency then come with me..#MaharashtraPolitcalCrisis
One such MLA apparently informed Congress top leader in Maharashtra that he was getting calls from Shinde, Congress leader presumed it to the for MLC elections scheduled on Monday & ignored. #MaharashtraPolitcalCrisis
The MLA to just be sure had told Eknath Shinde that he won’t vote for BJP candidate during MLC polls, Eknath apparently told the MLA he wasn’t calling him for his vote in MLC polls but he wanted him.. #Ma
Finally after making calls to close to 50 plus MLAs from Sena plus independent and smaller parties, Eknath Shinde gave a nod for the rebellion. I won’t be surprised if more people join him in coming day. #MaharashtraPolitcalCrisis

The escape of #ShivSena Min #GulabraoPatil from Mumbai to Guwahati is a script from Bollywood. Apparently Patil went unreachable first, then an entire troop of ShivSainiks started looking for him, they went to hotel where MLAs were staying, only to find him missing from there.
The search party that kept on roaming on the streets of South Mumbai entire night was under a lot of pressure from senior leaders of the ShivSena to get Patil at any cost and make him speak to CM #UddhavThackeray the search party was now getting restless
One of the search parties senior member suggested that they position themselves outside the official bungalow of Patil in South Mumbai, and in the morning they achieved success, when they saw Patil.

For those not familiar with Maharashtra politics let me tell you a small thing about Eknath Shinde, while every fort collapsed or was shaken, Thane always remained intact for Shiv Sena, because Shinde handled Thane district with the same respect as dharmaveer Anand Dighe.
Anand Dighe was the most towering leader of Shiv Sena after Balasaheb Thackeray, his death left a vaccum in Thane that many felt couldn’t be filled, but Shinde an ardent fan of Dighe, held the Shiv Sena strong, he even poached NCP leaders like Sarnaik in Thane
Shiv Sena has a lot to it’s credit in Thane district because of its party workers and these party workers were always happy because Shinde took appropriate care of them, from school admissions of their children to getting jobs.

Some big names in Mumbai/Pune/Baramati are in trouble. This thread is about Income Tax Searches carried out in Maharashtra on 2 real estate groups, revealing unaccounted income of ₹184 crore. The Income tax claims involvement of an influential family from Maharashtra
The IT Dept carried out search & seizure operations on 2 real estate groups of Mumbai & certain individuals/entities associated with them. The search operations commenced on Oct 7, & have been carried out at about 70 premises spread across Mumbai, Pune, Baramati, Goa and Jaipur.
The evidence gathered during the search has revealed several prima-facie unaccounted and benami transactions. Incriminating documents, evidencing unaccounted income of about Rs. 184 crore of the two groups have been found.

A video of a boy in his teen & his aunt went viral on social media that there was an attempt of kidnapping on him by a taxi driver in Mumbai’s Parel area, while he had gone to distribute mutton from Eid celebrations.1/5
The boy in the video spoke that the taxi driver asked him his religion, then abused him and was trying to kidnap him, when he raised an alarm the taxi driver fled. In the video he even showed an image of a taxi with its number plates 2/5
The woman then speaks that they first approached Kidwai Marg police station from there they were sent to Bhoiwada police station. But no action was being taken because of their religion. 3/5

Came across this video on @tiktok where the so called celebrities are clearly instigating & furthering hatred.

They say, “Maar toh diya Tum ne Tabrez ko, par Kal jab uski aulaad badla ke toh ye mat kehna Musalman atankwadi hai.”
@MumbaiPolice should act on this.
The video is a message that says There will be revenge taken for Tabrez’s alleged lynching. Social media platform is being further used to spread hatred. The video has more then 414k likes on tiktok.
What happened with Tabrez had to be condemned, & culprits be punished with severe punishment, but then using it as a tool to further hatred is not acceptable. This is not a sign how civilised society behaves.

Mohd Atif, the @Olacabs driver, thought I am single piece man, he threatened me, said it is his area and he can do anything. He even said battery haddi tod dunga. I maintained my cool & decided to register a NC with @MumbaiPolice
I was at a party in Bandra, Linking Road, booked an Ola cab, called the driver told him I had to go to Kalyan, he asked me to cancel, which I refused, he said he will cancel the ride, but he didn’t instead he arrived at the spot & refused me to board the cab.
When I told him, that now if he cancels, I will be facing a fine, to which he said it is my fault, & I should have cancelled the cab. He got abusive when I said I will Complaint & clicked his pictures.
