Side note: There is still one DQ case vs Marcos Jr. pending in the Comelec en banc (the one filed by Ilocano Martial Law survivors whose lawyer is constitutionalist Christian Monsod). But all signs indicate that petition would be dismissed as well. | via @newsdwight
@newsdwight The DQ case was already junked at the division level on April 20, but is currently the subject of an en banc review after petitioners filed a motion for reconsideration on April 25. It's been 63 days since they filed the appeal. | via @newsdwight
Once the Comelec releases its ruling on the Ilocano petition, the poll body will finally clear its desks of anti-Marcos cases, eight months since it first received a petition seeking to block his presidential bid.

Losing party can make one final appeal to the Supreme Court.
