They will die by suicide because they don’t see another way out or their doctor denied them the medication they need for their mental health. labblog.uofmhealth.org/rounds/suicide…
Don’t say-but there are exceptions for when the person’s life is in danger. Most of these cases wouldn't meet those exceptions. Doctors will err on the side of protecting the fetus for fear of being jailed or fined. This already happens here in the US. It will only get worse.
Now ask yourself how you will respond when the person you love needs medical treatment to save their life but they can’t get it. Instead, you have to hope they get sick enough that the doctors will declare their life in danger but not so sick that they actually die.
How will you respond if, while you are waiting, they take a sudden turn–their fallopian tube ruptures or they stroke out? What happens when the doctors are too slow and they die? How will you feel then?
And a final note: All abortions are needed abortions. You shouldn’t have to be sick or dying or prove you have a “good reason.” Not wanting to be pregnant is all the reason you need. #AbortionIsHealthcare#AbortionIsEssential
