Slightly inspired by Spy x Family

Hanguang-Jun was the best spy trained by the Cloud Recess agency, and some even dare say that he was the best spy in the world. He finished all his missions successfully in the less time possible,

He didn’t find anything impossible until his uncle and brother informed him about what could possibly be the most important mission of his career. He understands why they gave this mission to him, the, very fragile, peace of the world depended on it.

He would need to travel to Lanling, somehow managing to acquire a partner and a child and preparing that child to enter the prestigious Jinlitai academy, where the grandson of the Jin sect leader attended. The ambitious sect leader was doing some suspicious movements

In order to guarantee the power for himself, violating the accords of the Sunshot war, where all the main sects agreed that they would divide power equally in order to prevent another WRH to appear. The war was fought and won by his parents generation,

Not without great loses, his parents included. During the war, CR academy closed his doors for the other sects and decided to change their emphasis from academics to spying, being careful that the secret remained just for the Lan blood line.

The Jin sect leader needed to be disposed and replaced by his son, JZX, who is more amicable and has made their intentions clear that he respects and cherishes the accords. Recently, JGS decided to seclude himself and only leaves to attend the academy family reunions.

Not because he cares about his grandson, but just to rub in everyone’s face how glorious his sect is. Arriving to Lanling wasn’t hard, his brother gave him the name Wangji for this mission, still related to the clan for making the entrance to the academy easier

But not related enough to the main family. That’ll be fine. He passed through a very poor town called Qiongqi were he found an orphanage to adopt a child, not even a minute after entering the building there was a child hugging his leg while crying,

The doe eyes filled with tears looked at him and he couldn’t bear leave without him, the protectiveness striking him hard, he tried to calm him down.The child’s name was Wen Yuan, he must an orphan from the few survivors of the Wens

They wanted to beat this cute, frightened child. HGJ knew what he had to do, he made a sneaky threat to leave with his, newly adopted, son and sent a message to his brother for… preparations

HGJ arrived to his new apartment, while A-Yuan had accepted his adoption and was already calling him Diedie. He would thank his brother for the accommodations for a child, A-Yuan’s bedroom was filled with bunny themed things that he seemed to adore,

He even changed his clothes to a cute rabbit onesie pijama that made him look adorable. They had a light dinner and He tucked a-Yuan in his bed, he has the impulse of giving him a kiss on the forehead and got out of the room. After making sure A-Yuan was asleep,

It was time for HGJ to appear, he went back to the orphanage and without a second thought slid the throat of the guy that almost beat his son, the world was better without people like him anyway.

The next day he was shopping with A-Yuan and when he was paying for some beverages A-Yuan separated from him. A-Yuan was a smart child and when he saw a pretty stranger with a red ribbon on his ponytail he followed him and hugged his leg.

HGJ, the best spy in the world, was found himself frozen as he saw his son hugging the leg of the most beautiful man he ever saw, it didn’t help that his son was calling the stranger “mama”. When a-yuan saw him he hugged him instead and coming out of his shock state

Talked to the stranger:
“I’m sorry, he does that when he’s scared, he separated from me for a minute”
“It’s okay, you have a beautiful son, he was smart too by searching for someone who may help him”
Indeed, very smart.
“Thank you for helping him…”

“Wei Wuxian”, the pretty stranger had a pretty name too.

After a fun day with Wei wuxian, HGJ he had found his partner. A-yuan seemed to love him as well, what a filial son he had adopted.

A month had passed and LWJ had seen WWX almost everyday, finding out WWX routine wasn’t hard and creating “coincidental” meetings was as easy as breathing for him. WWX was kind and a noble man, so when he talked about how worried he was for A-Yuan’s education

The both of them to be married. LWJ got married to WWX on the nearest courthouse and with the help of his friend NHS was able to register the marriage dated a year before it happened. A-Yuan was the happiest when he found out that WWX was moving in with them.

The interview with the teachers wasn’t bad, the Lan surname was very helpful and A-Yuan aced his exams, so the real mission began on his son first day of school. A-Yuan being the playful but nice kid he was was able to talk to JL, JGS grandson and make himself a friend of him.

That would certainly make things easier for him, if he has access to the Jin’s mansion the operation will succeed faster. WWX was a perfect spouse, the both of them just fit in with each other in so many ways that it made Their marriage look authentic.

Maybe they seemed authentic because his feelings for WWX were very much real, making the lines between HGJ and LWJ blurry enough that he got rid off WWX coworker Su She after trying to humiliate his husband on that work reunion… well the guy won’t be missed.

The perfect opportunity came a year into his marriage, when JGS finally appeared at a family reunion, he had a plan for this, he wasn’t HGJ for nothing. A-yuan wasn’t his bright self today and for the first time made a tantrum, begging him and WWX to stay at home,

They didn’t and now here he was at a hall, a glass of champagne in his hand that he planned to give WWX, his husband by his side wearing a suit with a red tie that made him look stunning, attracting the eyes of some people that may or may not survive the future commotion.

He trusted his husband to get out of the building with their son, WWX was reliable and was fast and somehow really strong, he was also very protective of A-Yuan and would prioritise his safety. When JGS went to a room with his trusted guards he knew it was time,

HGJ would succeed in his mission. He told WWX that he would go to the bathroom, and discreetly started a fire, he knew the room JGS was in was soundproof, he had to be quick and make that sure that the sleeping drug he used on JGS and his guards worked.

After all JGS death must be declared a tragic accident and he had to reunite with his family afterwards. And if some of the people who looked at his husband with lust were drugged as well it could count as collateral damage. The room was silent, he knew reinforcement was coming,

his brother included, to help people get out and take care of the fire and the bodies, everything seemed fine at the moment, the door had a history of a locking problem for years now, the perfect excuse as why JGS suddenly couldn’t get out and died on the fire.

He felt a presence behind him, his senses never failed him. He jumped to the side, missing the knife that now was stuck on his previous spot.
“So HGJ is as good as his reputation, I can’t believe that you actually came, you may know me as the Yiling Laozu”

The voice was familiar enough, but something was wrong with it. He has to move again as the YLLZ attacked him, both of them had masks and were moving as fast as they could, between attacking and defending himself it was hard to think why he felt something was wrong

He has heard rumours about the YLLZ, the best assassin under the Jiang jurisdiction, he must be here protecting JGS as the father-in-law of JYL. The YLLZ may be as famous as him by now. This wasn’t on his plans but he needed this to end quickly, WWX must be worried by now.

He didn’t had too much time to think about it, the YLLZ was attacking him again, if this wasn’t the most important mission of his life, he would think about how in tune they seem with each other, their abilities on the same level, but temperature was rising,

He started hearing noises outside, the YLLZ noticed it too and made a mistake, one of his knives cut the ribbon that supported his mask and revealed WWX behind it. His husband, WWX, the YLLZ, the best assassin in the word. His husband got out of the shock and attacked him again,

He almost didn’t miss it, the ribbon of his mask cut too, WWX was looking at his bare face and paled rapidly. The door was open, he saw a gun pointing at his husband, the acted instinctively and threw himself to get his husband out of the way, he felt pain

It was not just one bullet, he could feel one on his shoulder, one on his leg, and another one on his arm. Dying was always a possibility in his line of work, but he never thought about it until that moment, he never cared if he died during a mission.

Ironically he didn’t wanted to die now, he wanted to see a-Yuan, hug him one last time, and tell him how proud he’s of him. He wanted to kiss WWX, and confess his feelings. WWX, the best assassin, the perfect husband, the caring father.

He can barely hear WWX’s voice calling him, a name that’s not even his but that came to be part of him, a man that didn’t exist but that he now wished he was. WWX was crying, his bloody hands trying, and failing, to stop the bleeding. He’s beautiful.

If he’s gonna die, at least he would do it without regrets, he thinks he may or may not hear his brother’s voice too. he’s tired but he concentrates all his energy to say what he wanted to say for more than a year now: “I love you”

He thinks WWX cries harder and says something he can’t understand, everything went dark.

Hanguang-jun was the best spy CR ever had, a true legend, that’s why everyone was shocked when they heard a rumour that HGJ made a mistake, and that that mistake cost him his life. Even if he was successful in his mission, HGJ died ensuring the peace of the world.

Officially, JGS died tragically at the fire in jinlitai, with 10 other men who were utterly close to him. His son, JZX, took care of the sect and gave a public speech exposing his late father, he wanted his leadership to be transparent, and he gave his word

That the accords would be respected. So world peace was secured for real this time.
In the CR facilities, Lan Huan was trying really hard to calm himself down and not killing his (fake?) brother in law. The most dangerous man besides his own brother was there,

With his (fake?) nephew while they’re waiting for his brother to get out of surgery. He couldn’t believe that his little brother was that careless to actually fall in love with his fake husband, who also was an assassin that was paid to kill him.

HGJ, the perfect spy made only one mistake in his whole career, falling in love. It may have been cruel to scream that to WWX on the ride to the hospital, but in his defence he risked the whole mission and his brother almost died protecting him even after he tried to kill him.

But what was done was done, and now the assassin was there with puffy eyes, hugging a child in a bunny onesie and telling him that everything was gonna be okay, that diedie was going to be okay soon and they could all be together again.

The doctor came out and said that his brother was fine, that he would recover but he needed rest. The tension left his and WWX shoulders. He left WWX enter the room first and saw his brother sleeping, connected to the tubes. That was an image that he didn’t want to repeat

He should inform his uncle about his brother’s progress. A few hours later, when his brother was awake he visited him for a proper talk.
“I’m glad that you’re okay, a-Zhan”
His brother glared at him, he hasn’t used his birth name in a long time now.

He can tell that he’s mad.
“Wei Ying is not a mistake, he would never be a mistake”
Lan Huan was surprised, his brother never talked to him like that.
“Oh, so he told you that. I’m surprised that he told you his birth name too. I don’t care what you think,

Wei Wuxian is the only mistake Hanguang-jun ever made”
His brother looks even more angry now. He probably shouldn’t have said that, so his feelings were that deep, huh? Well he was willing to compromise.
“I want HGJ to die”
Well that was new
“I beg your pardon?”

“ I talked to WY, after all that we just want to be together and raise our son. The only way we can do that is if HGJ and the YLLZ die”
That… made a lot of sense.
“That could be arranged, do you want them to die on the fire too?”
“Yes, brother”
“Farewell, HGJ”
LH left the room

Even if HGJ died that day, Lan Zhan resurfaced and was happier than ever, he married WY, this time for real with his brother and uncle by his side, their son was so happy that this time he could participate on their wedding.

They went back to their home at lanling, as if nothing had happened. So little yet so much changed for the little family, he could now kiss WY every time he wanted but their family was the same as it always was.

CR may or may not have two new special agents in their forces, code names Suibian and Bichen, who would take very few but very important missions once in a while, just for making sure that the peace that HGJ died for stayed just like that. And if Bichen sometimes had more

Kills of corrupt people, or someone who wasn’t respectfull enough to a citizen called WWX, no could tell.

Extra:
Wen Yuan could sometimes see visions of two beautiful adults that take care of him and make him feel safe and loved. So when he knew he was going to be hit

By the ugly adult he run away wanting for the beautiful people to find him, like a mirage one of them opened the door and saved him from that horrible place, diedie was amazing.
A few days later he saw the other one on the street, the red ribbon was the same! He ran after him

A-Niang was here too.
Lan Yuan could sometimes see what would happen in the future, he saw himself being friends with JL, having fun with his dads, a happy family.
But there was a day when he saw diedie on the floor, his baba crying and holding diedie, there was blood all over.

He knew that would happen at school, so he made everything possible in his tiny hands for preventing his parents from going to the reunion, he couldn’t and then the fire started and his parents were gone while he stayed with JL. Then a guy that looked like his diedie came

For him and took him to diedie’s house. His baba was there crying but he tried to smile for him. He had his favourite bunny onesie on and gave baba the biggest hug he could. He had a vision that his parents were happy again, baba has another baby on his arms.

Lan Yuan knew everything would be okay now, and that he’s gonna have a baby sister very soon.
