After 9 p.m., shots fired near Surdyk's, University and E Hennepin Ave. People in the bar reportedly hit the floor when the shots were fired.

"Heard a shooting from my balcony outside Sidebar on Hennepin. 5 shots. People running to get away. Looks like bullet holes in windows across the street. Happy 4th 😒"

Apparently, Frey was actually on the patio at Surdyk's when the shots were fired or shortly thereafter. This post says people started yelling at him.

And Mac's Industrial was taped off afterward, we heard a bullet went through the window.

As far as we can tell, ZERO mainstream #MNmedia reported on this shots fired incident that took place directly under the residence of Minneapolis @MayorFrey, who at least one person claimed was at Surdyk's when the incident unfolded.

That seems like news, doesn't it??
