From a follower:
"Heard a shooting from my balcony outside Sidebar on Hennepin. 5 shots. People running to get away. Looks like bullet holes in windows across the street. Happy 4th 😒"
From another follower:
"Shots fired about 9:05pm on 4th and E Hennepin Ave outside macs industrial
Looked to be 2 teenage gangs."
.
Literally across the street from Mayor Mom Jean Shorts' apartment.
.
A bullet reportedly went through the window at Mac's Industrial, across from Sidebar at Surdyk's.
.
Another witness account.
.
.
Apparently, Frey was actually on the patio at Surdyk's when the shots were fired or shortly thereafter. This post says people started yelling at him.
And Mac's Industrial was taped off afterward, we heard a bullet went through the window.
.
.
As far as we can tell, ZERO mainstream #MNmedia reported on this shots fired incident that took place directly under the residence of Minneapolis @MayorFrey, who at least one person claimed was at Surdyk's when the incident unfolded.
That seems like news, doesn't it??
.
Another follower confirms that Frey was in the vicinity and was present in the aftermath of the shootout.
And confirms bystanders were yelling at him.
.
.
New pics and new info about this shootout that literally happened under the mayor's residence on E Hennepin Ave - ZERO media coverage, except us.

1/ ICYMI, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey announced this afternoon the nomination of the city's first Commissioner of Community Safety, Cedric Alexander @Calex_law.
Salary range: $295,000 to $350,000
Position oversees: Police, 911, Fire, Emergency Mgmt, Public Information ++.
2/
Recall, citizens voted against this move last fall. The council and mayor disregarded the people's voice and have now created another massive layer of bureaucracy in the city of Minneapolis.
3/ Of note in his comments at the press conference, Cedric Alexander not so subtly directed comments urging media to "help me."
Um, while you can count on mainstream #MNmedia to toe your line, media's job, theoretically, is to hold you accountable.
.
Total of four people were in the vehicle, one of them fled.
It started as a fleeing vehicle, and the crash may have occurred separately from the fleeing vehicle.
Police aired that there was a crash, but it's unclear if the fleeing vehicle caused or was involved in the crash.
.
Scoop - We're told that Mayor Jacob Frey plans to nominate current Commissioner of the MN Dept of Public Safety John Harrington to the new Public Safety Commissioner of Minneapolis.
.
Remember, Minneapolis voted last fall against creating a Dept of Public Safety, but Mayor Frey and the Council disregarded that.
Now they'll hire a commissioner at up to $350,000 (twice what Harrington makes in his state role).
.
And Minneapolis didn't even require a master's degree for the position.
