Katsuki goes to work in the US as part of a hero exchange, leaving Izuku behind to to take care of their newborn baby.

Everything is fine to begin with, they video call on a regularly, Katsuki watches from

afar as their baby goes from an infant to a babbling toddler. Then the calls stop. Katsuki's too busy with work and no longer has the time, and Izuku doesn't want to put pressure on him.

Five years after Katsuki left he finally comes home, only home isn't what he left behind.

Home is a tense building where his 5 year old child lives with their grandparents.

When he asks about Izuku and where his Omega is, his parents tell him about his child's quirk. They can create explosions wherever they want so long as they are looking at the spot, a powerful combination of his quirk and Izuku's mothers.

They tell him that when the quirk came in Izuku was so happy, his little baby wasn't going to be quirkless like he was!

Then the school called Mitsuki and Masaru in. Between themselves, the headmaster and child services, it was decided that Izuku would lose custody.

After all, a quirkless person could never support a quirked child properly.

So with Katsuki overseas the child was put in the care of Katsuki's parents.

They tell him how Izuku broke down, begging and screaming as the policemen held him back as his equally terrified child was

taken from their home.

He can imagine it, Izuku had always been one for dramatics.

After agreeing with his parents that they did the right thing, Katsuki goes to see his child. Only they don't want to see him.

They turn away with a huff, telling him to leave them alone.

"What's wrong with you brat? Don't want to finally meet your old man?"

His pup just glares and runs off upstairs to their room.

Apparently they've refused to talk to anyone or use their quirk since being taken away from Izuku.

"Yeah? Well I'll change that, don't worry."

Katsuki won't have the quirkless Omega causing problems for his pup.

So he plans to go and see Izuku but is quickly told by his mother that Izuku is actually in a high security mental health ward for the quirkless.

"He tried to kill us Kats," His father tells him "He came here in the middle of the night and snuck in through the kitchen window. If it wasn't for your mother going to the toilet and catching him at the bottom of the stairs, we'd both be dead!"

His position as a hero makes getting to Izuku very easy. Not that the administration really care, they're only keeping the quirkless locked up and everyone knows how weak they are.

The warden in charge of the facility quickly leads him to Izuku's cell.

What Katsuki sees isn't at all what he expected.

Izuku sits on the far side of the room dressed in baggy clothing, his long hair full of matts and god knows what else, and he's staring blankly at the wall.

"We keep him medicated," The warden explains "Easier to deal with this way. He was far too noisy when they brought him here. If you'd like to go in I can give you 10 minutes but he likely won't respond."

Katsuki shakes his head.

"No. I just needed to know if he was going to be a problem but I can see that he won't." He turns away from Izuku without a second glance and strides off down the hall with the warden in tow. "You said something about a bond breaking procedure?"

If his time in the US taught him anything, it's that he's better alone without a quirkless Omega holding him back.

With his pup and their powerful quirk, he'll get them using it soon enough, he knows his legacy is secure.

Izuku was just a stepping stone on his path to glory.
