“HMPH!”

Lan Xichen looked up from the pot he was currently slumped over as his son sat down at the kitchen table. It was clear from where he stood that his son was in a bad mood.

The six year old had his arms cross over his chest, glaring at his empty
plate with such intensity that Lan Xichen was sure it would burst into flames.

“Hey sweetheart, what wrong?” He called out, taking the pot off of the stove so he could give his full attention to his son.
“NOTHING!” Lan Jingyi basically shouted, something he had never seen the child do before. The elder man gave his husband a puzzled look as Jiang Cheng joined them in the dining room.

Jiang Cheng shrugged, he clearly didn’t know what was wrong either.
However when he walked over to the toddler to clean his hands before dinner, the boy kicked out at him.

“No! Go away!”

“A-Yi!” Lan Xichen scolded, giving Jiang Cheng a look as if to say ‘what did you do?’ but Jiang Cheng had no idea!
Lan Xichen sighed, wiping his hands in his apron before he moved to stand next to his son.

“A-Yi, Baby, what’s wrong?” Lan Xichen asked worriedly, ruffling the boys hair.

“Baba was mean today, A-Die.” Lan Jingyi sniffed dejectedly.
“Baba was mean? What did he do?” Lan Xichen prompted throwing a glare at his husband who was currently attempting to sneak away.

“You should have heard him!” Lan Jingyi declared, climbing up so he was standing on his chair.
“When we picked up my friends he called A-Ling a little baby bird! Then he called Sizhui a little baby bunny and THEN he called Zizhen a little baby Tiger cub!” He huffed angrily, leaning his hands on his father knees. “And guess what he called me?”
Lan Xichen attempted to stifle a laugh as he looked down at his son.

“What did he say?”

“HE CALLED ME A FISH!” Lan Jingyi shouted angrily, tears welling up in his eyes. “HE CALLED ME A STINKY FISH!”

Lan Xichen pulled his son into his arms to give him a tight hug,
and also attempt to hide his amusement.

However when he heard his husband laugh, he shit him a very angry glare.

“You aren’t a stinky fish, A-Yi.” Lan Xichen said softly, petting his hair gently. “You’re A-Dies precious lil kitten, okay?”
“Okay A-Die.” Lan Jingyi sniffled, hugging his dad tightly, still very angry at his other father.

It seemed Jiang Cheng was in the dog box tonight.

Nothing but the sound of moving water filled the room as Lan Wangji sunk down into the tub, flinching as the hot water hit his nearly healed wounds.

It took him a few moments before he could finally lower himself into the tub fully.
Despite the fact his wounds from his punishment were nearly healed, they still hurt considerably whenever he had to bathe.

Lan Wangji gave a shuddery sigh as he leant his arms on the edge of the tub, alleviating some of the pain from his back.
The silence engulfed the room once more, leaving Lan Wangji alone with his thoughts.

He grumbled at the thought of having to move again to try and wash himself, but thankfully the universe seemed to offer him a solution.

- day n nite
- mr bright side
- killing in the name of

The party down the road from my flat played all of these in a row LMAO it’s constant DNB then suddenly BOOM everyone is singing Mr Brightside
This is why I cannot go to flat parties here they have no good music (though I do love all three of these songs I am not a DNB fan lmao)
The ironic thing about this was that I was a dubstep preteen LMAOOO

“Are you sure this is a good idea, baobei?” Wen Shui asked worriedly, her brows furrowing worriedly as her partner ran around the room in a panic. “If they catch us leaving-“

“Darling, my love, my whole heart.” Qingheng-Jun whispered, walking
over and putting her head in his hands. “If you get caught pregnant with my child and we are not married the consequences will be far worse.” He sighed, letting his hands fall to his shoulders. “I love you so much, you know that right? I can’t loose you.”
“I know, I know.” Wen Shui replied, hanging her head in shame. “But surely there has to be another way.”

“There is no other way.” Qingheng-Jun said sadly, resting a hand over his girlfriends pregnant belly. “We have to leave to protect our family.”

“Oh god.” Xiao Xingchen muttered, hiding his face behind his hands as the door to the coffee shop opened.

Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen frowned at their cousin, before turning to look at the people who had just walked in.
“Do you not like them?” Lan Xichen whispered.

He and Lan Wangji had just moved into town, they had no idea who these people were.

“How can you not like them?” Lan Wangji followed up. “They are definitely your type.”
“They are.” Xiao Xingchen sighed. “The tall one is my ex.”

Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji watched the group of four sit down across the cafe.

“Your EX?!” Lan Wangji gasped, turning to smack his cousin. “Why is he your ex?! Why?!”
