Last month, Congress passed the first gun violence prevention legislation in 30 years and proved that bipartisan solutions are possible.
But the Highland Park tragedy quickly reminded us that we can’t stop there. We have so much more to do if we want to end this crisis.

In order to reduce America's gun violence epidemic and set the stage for generations of progress, we must:
1. Fix our unjust democratic systems 2. Expand the Brady Background Check System 3. Uniquely address and treat the many sources of gun violence bradyunited.org/reports/legisl…
Gun violence goes beyond the catastrophic mass
shootings that make the front page. It is a public
health epidemic that profoundly impacts millions
of Americans every single day.
With over 40,000 people killed with guns each year, we cannot wait another minute to demand action.
Right now, we are at the precipice of historic +
meaningful change in the movement against gun violence, made possible by growing national outrage.
But we can't let up.
We must make the recent legislative win the FIRST step in comprehensive change across America.
The Biden-Harris administration and the 117th Congress are uniquely situated to enact and lay the groundwork for sensible, bipartisan gun laws.
We can change the trajectory of gun violence in the United States and create a safer country for generations to come.
Are you with me? Here's how you can act.
