It’s important to explicitly name what’s happening here: The Governor of Oklahoma is using taxpayer money to target public schools in a town which saw one of the worst instances of racial violence in American history & accuse them of breaking the law by teaching their own history
2/ He’s doing all of this for one reason: to distract from his administration’s *multiple* recent scandals and help his re-election chances this November by generating Fox News headlines.
I explain why the “audit” he’s calling for is bullshit here:
4/ They use lots of vague language about "not teaching one race or sex is superior to another race or sex" without ever saying when or how the public school teachers they're accusing supposedly did that.
If they're going to make accusations, they should be forced to be specific.
5/ Public school teachers & admins deserve the right to face their accusers, especially when their accuser is using taxpayer money & the bully pulpit of the Governor's office to accuse them.
If @govstitt & @sec_walters are going to cast aspersions, they better provide receipts.
@GovStitt@sec_walters 6/ Last month, we learned that @GovStitt & @sec_walters did no oversight of $18 million in emergency edu funding, violating both federal & state requirements.
Now they're calling for an audit of an adversary over $20k—0.01% of the amount they misspent.
@GovStitt@sec_walters 7/ Fraud by Stitt's donor buddies at Epic cost the state more than $22 million—& they tried to hide it.
The Tulsa Public Schools discrepancy Stitt & co. are trying to hype up was for $20k—and the Superintendent was the one who found & disclosed the issue.
1/ The first thing you're going to need is a sample resume, which you can download from google images at this link: google.com/search?tbm=isc…
Any sample resume will work, as this little project is about volume, baby!
2/ Next, you need believable details to enter in to their system. Most importantly, it needs to be hard for them to filter fake applications from the real ones.
To make that harder, you need to have a believable address, ESPECIALLY a believable zipcode. I'll provide those below.
why do I feel like there is a Dinesh/@KevinMKruse flame war over this exact topic in the near future?
Ugh, I meant precedent not precedence. I went to a whole language grade school, where they taught us to spell however we thought things should be spelled, so please do not hold it against me.
In case anyone thinks the story above is fake (which, while it could be, that it’s even a THEME someone would think of is fucked up) there was an entire subreddit of “Texas Bounty Hunters” strategizing places to “find perps” (aka desperate women & the doctors who help them).
2/ The cop's reason for violently attacking a clearly confused elderly disabled woman? She had accidentally wandered outside of a @Walmart while holding a soda & candy bar—less than $14 worth of items!—which she both gave back AND offered to pay for.
