This is a DISGRACE. It is 11:45 p.m., we have not finished passing a state budget, but the Senate R's forced a Committee vote on an abortion ban. Women and our allies will not stand for this. This is an attack on reproductive justice, on OUR RIGHTS and on OUR BODIES. #PABudget
Let me be clear, the Republicans in the Senate think that everyone is tucked away for the night and not paying attention. EVERYONE will know about the attacks on women’s reproductive freedom that is happening in the PA Senate tonight

Another horrific event -before gaveling out of an evening legislative session tonight, every Senate Republican voted against my amendment to HB2032 which would have established a statewide rape kit tracking system. HB2032 only required a study of rape kit tracking #PABudget (1/5)
We don’t need to study rape kit tracking - WE NEED TO ACTUALLY TRACK RAPE KITS SO SURVIVORS HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR EVIDENCE AND RESULTS. But the Senate R’s said nah, let’s just study it - that helps victims, right? #SurvivorsDeserveJustice #PaNeedsCleanedup #PABudget (2/5)
My amendment included the language of my SB860 and @RepMcClinton's HB1848 which would empower victims, increase transparency and give victims timely access to their evidence & updates on their cases. (3/5)
