Hard skills get you in.

But soft skills get you far.

Here's a tactical approach to accelerating your career:
1/ Do yourself assessment first of all.

Do a SWOT analysis of yours to really know about yourself.

Are you a builder or grower? Missionary or mercenary?

The more you know yourself, the better you serve the company.
2/ Extreme ownership of the projects.

Go with the mindset that it is all on you.

Assume the responsibilities of a CEO. Company problems are your problems.

You should never be satisfied and always try to improve the system.
3/ Apply first principles thinking to everything.

Always ask 5-times "why" to everything.

Most important, don’t be afraid to question founders.

Use this principle in your market, industry, and category.
4/ Be passionately curious.

Be open to knowing what you don’t know.

Close those gaps. Pay for people who have done it. Go learn from courses.

Some Youtube & podcasts are even better than paid courses.
5/ Do what is not EVEN asked of you.

Solve your boss’s problem. Create those reports.

Think for the company - What’s the biggest challenge right now?

And, how can you immediately help?

Do more with less.
6/ A good internal documentation writing is an underrated skill.

But it is a super-power if you can do it right.

It makes onboarding easier, meetings productive, and results faster.

It literally saves everyone time and energy.

Do that, more often.
7/ Skills can be taught, but attitude can’t.

People who have the willingness to work hard go long way.

You can train people. But can’t teach them to care.

People who care are an asset to ANY company.

Do care about your company, customers, and teammates more.
8/ Every conversation is a good referral for the future.

Build relationships outside of the company.

You never know how handy they come to you later.

People who I guess blogged for now help me find jobs.

On building relationships:
9/ Use your personal branding for your company because people buy from people.

If you are in marketing, people follow you for your point of view.

Make sure you are being the best ambassador to your company.

Extend your point of view to build the company & your brand.
10/ Meet people smarter than you.

You don’t have to figure it out all yourself.

Go people who have done this and learn from their mistakes.

Pay for their time because everyone is busy.

Smarter people are the BEST hack to leveling up.
Important: These tips might only be good in context.

If you are in a similar context, it will help.

Don't be afraid to challenge it.

Go over and beyond, find your best way of being the best self-version to career growth.

Be more YOU. Nobody can beat you there.
That's all folks.

TikTok ads are the cheapest right now.

If you are not exploiting it, you are clearly missing out.

Here’s everything you need to know to crush TikTok ads:
1/ Before going further, let me tell you TikTok's potential:

- 80mn users in US
- 37% users have household income $100K+
- 90% of users access the app everyday
- 49% of users said TikTok helped them make purchase decisions
- 72% of TikTok users find ads on the platform inspiring
2/ Start with seasoning your pixel with clicks only.

Add events like add to cart, initiate check out and purchase but try this later.

But do not start with it. TikTok recommends starting out with traffic campaign.

I have seen this work, you can retarget folks to show more ads.

Three best friends invested $10K in their business and turned it into a $30m company in 3 years.

Over the past 6 months, I've spent more than $600,000+ on Facebook Ads.

I learned more from what I SHOULD not do.

Here are 10 Mistakes I made that you shouldn't repeat:
1/ Don't use stock images or video.

Instead, use those images and videos as inspiration.

And go to your customers with real-human images.
2/ Don't use "brand awareness or traffic" objectives.

Engagement and likes are vanity metrics.

Only focus on conversion if that's your goal.
