Those fantasising of a Sri Lanka type debt trap for India are indulging in blatant and deliberate misrepresentation of data. India's total external debt is $621 Bn of which Central Govt’s debt is just 21%. Nearly 50% of it is debt taken by non-Govt companies and households. (1/2)
The selective data picking and misrepresentation continues... Although $267.7 Bn of debt is due in less than a year, but how much of that is Central Govt debt? Just $7.7 Bn. Yes, that is just less than 3%! Again, the bulk of the repayments fall on non-Govt sector. (2/2)

The Congress-Left is using students as cannon fodder for their politics. Recent example is preying on the anxieties of JEE-NEET aspirants.
After the @DG_NTA put out details of the steps taken by the government, they have dumped the students in hurry and turned brazenly political.
JEE:
- Out of 8,58,273 candidates, 6,49,223 have downloaded their admit cards.
- 99.07% candidates have been given the first choice of their preference.
- So far, only 120 candidates have requested for a change in centre cities allotted to them.
NEET (UG):
- Candidates have option to change their centre cities five times, about 95,000 candidates have availed the same.
- Out of total 15,97,433 candidates, 99.87% given first choice of their preferences of city.
- Elaborate arrangements to sanitise centres for both exams.

Manish Tewari’s letter to Facebook opens up a Pandora’s box.

Mr Tewari wrote a letter to Facebook management on 18th August, where he says that Facebook management can get in touch with his senior policy advisor Bharat Gopalaswamy in the USA. (1/n)
This is a serious revelation and troublesome on multiple grounds.

Can Indian MPs hire lobbyists in US masquerading as advisors?

Whose interests do these US based lobbyists serve when they advise Congress MP Manish Tewari? (2/n)
Bharat Gopalaswamy served as the director of the South Asia Center at the Atlantic Council, where Manish Tewari also served. Interestingly it is the same Atlantic Council which controls and guides Facebook’s effort in dealing with political propaganda. (3/n)
