๐บTo celebrate her Aagman, people sing Bhajans and keep vigil all night. It's believed that Goddess Laxmi moves from place to place asking the question "๐๐จ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข?", She showers Her blessings only to those houses where people are awake.

๐ฉPurandaradasa was initially a very wealthy and miserly tradesman who would not even part with a coin in the name of charity. But having obtained the grace and blessings of Shri Hari, he was totally transformed and gave away his entire material wealth in charity.
๐ฉ Kahnopatra was the daughter of a dancing girl named Shyama. Once she saw a group of devotees singing the praise of Vitthala. They were travelling to Pandharpur to see Vitthala Panduranga.
๐ฉKanhopatra wanted to go along with them so she went home, informed her mother, took her tambura and joined the devotees. After Darshan, she decided to stay there itself. She would always remain in the temple & sing Vitthala's praise.
๐ฉ One man told Badshah of Bedar about her beauty.On hearing this, Badshah sent his guards to go get Kanhopatra from the temple of Pandharpur. The guards reached the temple gates & told Kanhopatra that if she failed to listen to them, they would have to take her forcefully.
๐ฉKansa ordered Akrura to fetch Shri Krishna and Balrama to Mathura so that he could finish them. Akrura was a Vishnu Bhakta. Respecting the orders of his master Kansa, Akrura travelled on a chariot to pick up Shri Krishna and Balrama.
๐ฉOn their way back, Shri Krishna and Balarama halted near the banks of Yamuna river to perform their morning rituals. After the brothers returned, Akrura went to bathe in the river and perform his rites
๐ฉAfter chanting some Mantras, Akrura dived into the river. He opened his eyes underwater, and saw a glimpse of Shri Krishna and Balarama. Akrura was perplexed as he didn't know how Shri Krishna and Balarama reached underwater so quickly.
๐ฉ She was the wife of King Mahipati Shah of Garhwal. She was known for her ruthless bravery which earned her the title of โNak-Kati-Raniโ which means the queen who cuts the nose.
๐ฉ The king of Garhwal was known for his fierce bravery and his stiff opposition to any invasion. When Shah Jahan was crowned on 14th February 1628 at Agra, rulers all across the northern India went to pay personal visit to the new emperor.
๐ฉBut the king decided to avoid this ceremony which enraged the new emperor. The emperor was also told about the gold mines in the region, which increased the determination of the new emperor to plan an invasion.
๐ฉOnce upon a time, there was a very brave King called Harishchandra of Ayodhya. The King was known for his truthfulness and caring behavior.
๐ฉHe took decisions on the grounds of Dharma. Under his rule, all of his subjects were extremely happy and satisfied with the King. The kingdom was very prosperous and developed.
๐ฉOnce all the Gods decided to test the King, so they requested Sage Viswamitra to help them. One fine day the King went hunting in the forest nearby, where he suddenly heard a scream of a woman. The King immediately went to help the woman and ran into Sage Vishwamitra's Ashram.
