What do some Warrenistas get out of their capping for BernieBros and their hatred of Biden and #KHive?
Neither of them tweeted 🐍🐍🐍 at Warren. They still hate her. They will never vote for her.
What's the tangible benefit of the relationship?
A mutual hatred of Democrats?
Is it they're trying to clear the field so she can run in 2024 or 2028? That kinda undercuts the "Biden is too old" argument. She's 73.
I mean some of the biggest Warren fans on this app bit down hard on Nina Turner's candidacy in #OH11. And they went after Rep. Shontel Brown rabidly. Some of the wildest comments I see about VP Kamala Harris are from #WarrenDemocrat Twitter feeds. I know I'm not the only one.
Is it because they feel like the first woman President should be her? I mean I get that but that's probably not going to happen. Like I said they're constantly beefing with #KHive and I would say their allegiance with the Bernie folks is tenuous at best.
Do they think if they stand hand-in-hand with the Justice Dems and other saboteurs that they can block the Black base who wants Biden and Kamala? That's about the only thing I can see. But what happens then? Do they trust the Bernie folks to reward them? I don't see it.
And why this preoccupation with destroying Kamala and #KHive? How does that help Warren? Won't she need both if she's trying to run and win the nomination? The Bernie alliance came from the top down and seemed strategic. Why is that the only one tho?
Eventually she's going to have to step out her comfort zone and engage people outside her subset of fans. And those people are going to have questions about her treatment of VP Kamala Harris and her fans treatment of her supporters. Why not quell the feud now? Nip it in the bud?
Just asking. I used to really like her. Still think she's wicked smart. I just don't trust her political instincts. And she's too damn smart to be tweeting all the time and not writing and passing legislation. Her treatment of her former boss doesn't sit well with me either.
I just see her and some of her biggest supporters always on the attack when it comes VP Kamala Harris and #KHive. It's like their attack dogs. But that's beneficial to Bernie and the Justice Dems. Doesn't seem to further her interests at all. Just me tho.

The paradigm is not "old vs new politics" between progressives and Democrats. That's not the appropriate dichotomy. It's "effective vs. performative." For all the criticism of incremental progress I don't see any progress from progressives. It's all esoteric praise for "fighting"
Or it's blame-shifting. Or taking all the credit while refusing to take none of the blame. I see that too much from certain progressives. Everything is everybody's fault except theirs. That's something to consider when considering the nature of their criticism.
For example progressives blamed liberals and Obama for the overturning of Roe. They blamed him for not forcing RBG to retire (as if McConnell would've allowed him to fill the seat anyway) and then they cherrypicked a comment from a random press conference
Starting a random music thread because today has been a lot. The infighting against certain progressives and voices on the left along with Republicans trying to subvert our democracy has us burning both ends of the candle. Let's chill with some good tunes
The only thing I hate about AOC is her attempts to sabotage and sandbag the party. All her other extracurricular stuff doesn't bother me. It's the fact she's trying to force Bernie's platform down the throat of a party that doesn't want it. She's just doing it in a subtle way.
And I've lost many followers for that. Many people think she's the best thing that hit politics in a long time. I can't see it. And I can't look past that. I don't care how smart or how savvy she is on social media. She's an interloper.
I say this because she positioned herself as some political consultant to the party and the President. This is not a role she's qualified to be in. She's also pretty resistant to learning from more experienced politicians. And that's a big red flag for me.
Since we're talking about @Jerone4Congress and his pretty hilariously stupid ad about defending himself from "Democrats in Klan hoods" I'll just point out the KKK endorsed Trump for President.
The party should always be evolving and it is. It is filled with smart women, Black folks, LGBTQIA. People willing to work. The party is not perfect but it does not need to bend to the will of disaffected Bernie supporters. And that’s what this fight is really about.
This not about “fight” or a “plan” or “meeting the moment” or none of that shit. This is about a calculated effort to take over a party that rejected them. It’s happening on multiple fronts and either you get that or you don’t. Either you see it or you won’t.
I do not want a "fighter." I don't want politicians always on Twitter "fighting" about something. I want workers. People willing to put in the time and sweat equity. Don't tell me your plans. Get in there and work for them. Show me your history of turning your plans into action.
