Shri Ram Swarup wrote several works, making a deep, yogic critique of monotheism and he also explained the Vedas and the Hindu dharma. Let us discuss his works.

But let me tell you want Shri Ram Swarup means to me, to the movement and to all of us.
2. The civilization of Bhāratavarṣa was interrupted by two monotheistic colonialisms in medieval era. During the British Raj, we once again came in a position to reclaim what was lost and saints like Swami Vivekananda & Aurobindo Ghosh gave the call for Hindu Renaissance.
3. This movement for Hindu Renaissance was interrupted during the run up for our independence when the call for ‘political unity’ went out by Gandhi and the Congress Party and everything Indic, Sanātana and Hindu was jettisoned because ‘Muslims had to be included’.
2. The course is the first in our series called ‘Fire Keepers of Civilization’, in which we will teach courses on rṣīs, scholars, thinkers and dārśanikas, who kept the fire of Indic Knowledge Systems eternally burning by continuous learning and teaching.
3. This series is part of our online learning initiative – Bṛhat Draṣṭā – in which we impart ways of looking & seeing, darśana, based on the work of our rṣīs & dārśanikas so learners can be equipped with knowledge, skills & fortitude to proceed on the path of being dṛṣṭās.
1. Christian Missionary Strategy to convert Hindus to Christianity as per Sita Ram Goel
Christianity considers Hindu dharma a false religion to be eliminated, just like its other Arabian counterpart. So it seeks to convert all Hindus to Christianity by any means possible.
2. Sita Ram Goel said that Christianity doesn’t come into an open social war everywhere in India with the Hindu society, except of a few places like North-East. Instead, it tries to quietly convert Hindus by direct bribery and other fraudulent means. Their strategy is as follows.
3. “(a) Training of more and more native missionaries in their far-flung, well-equipped and fabulously financed seminaries so that missionary work looks no more like an undertaking manned mostly by foreigners;”
The British left another monotheistic residue in India which converted a few Hindus & states and these converts now act as an anti-Hindu force now. What are the traits of ‘Christianism’(as Sita Ram Goel calls it)?
2. The 8 traits of this force, Christianism (residue of Christianity) which is laying siege to Hindu society are provided by Sita Ram Goel in his book, ‘Hindu Society Under Siege’. He considers this Christianism as the second force which lays siege to India. Quotes are by SRG.
3. “(a) That the Hindus have never had a Saviour whose historicity can be ascertained, with the possible exception of the Buddha;”
1. Deep Ecology of Sanātana dharma in Ram Swarup’s Works
The most glaring difference between dharmic sects like Hindu dharma & monotheistic sects like Christianity is the sense of ecology. Dharmic sects have an inbuilt ecological compass; monotheistic sects are anti-ecological.
2. Ram Swarup says that modern materialist thinking puts man at the centre of the Universe where all parts of Nature and ecology are for his use and exploitation. This anthropocentric view is not new but originates in the Bible which declares that Nature exists to serve man.
3. “The ethical thinking of Sanātana dharma derives from this larger conception of man. Man belongs to a great community and many forces, mostly invisible. He is a meeting point of many influences; he derives his sustenance and even his being from many planes, many sources.”
The obsession of Hindus with Ajmer, Chishtiya Silsila and Sufis in general is very unhealthy. Some professors (from JNU & other universities) have built their career by whitewashing the history of Sufis in India & continue to do so.
2. Sita Ram Goel had warned in 1985 that this fatal love of Hindus for Sufis will be their ruin. It is Hindus who have kept the Sufi tradition alive in India by visiting and donating to Ajmer as well as most other dargahs. A tradition which has always wanted to convert them.
3. He has also warned about the absurdity of Hindu professors and academicians sitting in India’s top universities and singing paeans about Ajmer and other Sufi orders in India. They are doing a great disservice by confusing Hindus about the real nature of Sufism.
