A new teaser for “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" is here, showing off Galadriel’s terrifying vision, a man wreathed in fire, and adorable harfoots.
The preview focuses primarily on the two characters who also appear in Peter Jackson’s #LordOfTheRings film trilogy: Galadriel and Elrond, as they debate Galadriel’s belief that a shadowy enemy believed to be vanquished is still very much a looming threat. bit.ly/3aGsRYz
Galadriel does not find his assurances that he knows from darkness to be all that comforting. “You have not seen what I have seen,” she says darkly, before we’re given a glimpse of horrific death and destruction witnessed by Galadriel. bit.ly/3aGsRYz
We’re provided a healthy showcase of all the various realms of Middle Earth that the series will depict, like the underground Dwarven kingdom of Khazad-dûm, the wooded Elven realms of Lindon and Eregion, and especially the fabled island kingdom of Númenór. bit.ly/3aGsRYz
The first season of “The Rings of Power” will premiere Sept. 2. A second season has already been ordered. bit.ly/3aGsRYz

“I was just in Paris and this 40-year-old man came up to me and he was like, ‘Wow, this Will character made me feel so good. And I related to it so much. That is exactly who I was when I was a kid.’ That just made me so happy to hear.”

A judge ruled on Wednesday that Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, must sit for a deposition and produce all documents that are being requested by the pop star’s team.

Spears was put under a court-ordered conservatorship in 2008 by her father. After more than a decade, Spears’ father was suspended by the court in September 2021, and the conservatorship was ultimately terminated in November 2021.
The project was first reported as being in development in early 2021, though series star Paget Brewster had said on social media later that year that the project appeared to be “dead.”
