Man City could look different next season, partly due to new players but also maybe bigger roles for Foden and Grealish too. Article online here. morningstaronline.co.uk/article/s/manc…
Not too much difference positionally between Zinchenko as a left-back for Man City (left) and Xhaka as a left-sided central midfielder for Arsenal.
Guardiola's Man City full-backs have been more like midfielders recently anyway, and last season Zinchenko was almost always used in that role as a full-back who drifts inside.
So there won't be much of a transition for Zinchenko from being a Man City full-back to being an Arsenal midfielder, and he still plays regularly in midfield for Ukraine.
Chelsea Supporters’ Trust statement re Ricketts bid: "The CST are grateful to the Ricketts family for meeting with us. However, our concerns about their ability to run an inclusive club on behalf of our diverse supporter base around the world have not yet been allayed."
CST: "It is for the Ricketts family to demonstrate how they will address supporter concerns – especially with regard to inclusivity, given both past and recent statements by members of the family, and they have not yet done that."
CST: "They must do so publicly and they must do so urgently. If they are unable to do this and gain the confidence of Chelsea supporters, the CST Board does not believe it would be in the best interests of our members and Chelsea supporters for their bid to succeed."
