Got a lovely message and though a bit long, I found it surely worth a read and #TooGoodNotToShare
The gist of golf in one message and I am certain all #Golfers will love it !!
Like faith, golf requires us to lose our "old nature."
We first must learn the proper grip. Nature tells us to grip the club tightly, in golf though, a tight grip keeps us from meeting the ball squarely and it sails off in a wayward direction. This teaches us to keep a grip, a gentle grip, on our thoughts and emotions.
In physics v learnt that the harder v swing the farther the ball will fly. This doesn't work in golf.Using our strength to muscle the ball will usually only advance it a short distance. As in golf, our approach to life's problems requires a light touch & a well articulated swing
The most common mistake golfers make is looking up during their swing to see where the ball is headed. This causes them to top the ball, or completely miss it. We have the same problem in life. We're so busy looking ahead we often don't focus on the present.
Our urge to look up is strong especially when we're facing a hazard, like water or sand. In life also we often constantly looking ahead for trouble. But if we keep our head down and focus on the present, we're more likely to tackle issues successfully.
When we get close to the green we're equally likely to peek before the swing is completed. In life too sometimes we're so blinded by things we want we don't pay attention to doing what it takes to get them.
On these chip shots our nature tells us to stop our club when it hits the ball,so it won't go over the green. Faith requires us to follow through with our swing,or the ball will come up short. It reminds us 2 follow through with decisions, rather than be afraid of the consequences
Golf like life, at times, is a frustrating game but we shouldn't give in to these frustrations. Golfers must calmly accept adversity. They must humble themselves and nothing is more humbling than raking a sand trap after wasting three shots to get out of it.
Our nature is to blame others for our problems, but in golf there's no one else to blame. Some blame the club, the wind or a bad lie, but those are not the real problems.
Golf also teaches us courtesy and respect for others.
We don't talk during someone's shot or do anything to distract them. But why should the golf course be the last bastion of courtesy?
It may also be the last bastion of sportsmanship. Golfers are on the honor system, keeping their own scores.
Golfers are so honorable, they call penalties on themselves. Such honesty is needed in our daily dealings too.
Golf also demands integrity and so does life .
It goes against our nature to count every stroke (even when no one saw an air shot) and finish every putt, but we can't improve until we face what we're shooting now. Fudging our score is like cheating on a test. It's the reason golf pencils don't have erasers.
Life also gives us many opportunities to cheat, but we're only cheating ourselves.
As in faith, there are elements of grace in golf : The lucky bounce, the ball that skips across the water, the strong putt that is stopped by the pin.
We need grace on the golf course and on life it's not difficult nor contrary to human nature.
As an aside : Golfers have devised their own form of grace called "mulligans." But remember, we need to use these do-overs only once per round, lest we cheapen grace.
Indeed, IT IS A BLESSING TO BE A GOLFER 🏌️
Can we draw similes between a good game of golf and life and learn some lessons therefrom to lead a better and focused life?
Thanks 🙏 for reading and please do share with your loved ones if you feel it will benefit them 🙏🙏

In the country of Armenia, in 1988, Samuel and Danielle sent their young son, Armand, off to school.
Samuel squatted before his son and looked him in the eye. "Have a good day at school, and remember, no matter what, I’ll always be there for you." They hugged and the boy ran off to school.
Hours later, a powerful earthquake rocked the area.
In the midst of the pandemonium, Samuel and Danielle tried to discover what happened to their son but they couldn’t get any information.
The radio announced that there were thousands of casualties. Samuel then grabbed his coat and headed for the schoolyard.

Man chooses things or makes his decisions through his inner radar, which is his heart.
Once upon a time, a young newly wed couple lived in a small farm far away. They were poor and had no means of earning their livelihood.
One day the newly married man thought of leaving that field and going somewhere far away to find a job.
He told his wife,“Dear, I want to go somewhere far to earn money and I promise to come back with a lot of it so that we can live with all the amenities that we deserve. I don't know when I will come back, but please wait for me & be faithful to me.I will also remain loyal to you."
