Grover: I apologise for causing this inconvenience. I have filed an article 32 petition. The petitioner is a journalist and a fact checker. He was arrested on June 27. Some of these FIRs are old. Immediately after I was sent to judicial custody, Sitapur warrant arrived.
Grover: After I was granted bail in Delhi on July 15, 2022. The same day another warrant arrived.
SG: I have not been able to see the petition. I was just served, not complaining but just informing. #MohammedZubair
DYC J: In the Delhi FIR you have been granted bail on 15th July?
Grover: Yes. All cases are broadly under 153A, 295A. The maximum punishment in all of them is 3 years.
SG: The court was the see the urgency for today.
DYC J: What is it that you want today?
SG: Hathras, as per the chart given by my learned friend. Application for remand was argued today. This court mayn’t pass an order preventing another court from passing an order.
Grover: The status report by Delhi police has expanded scope
Grover: This is an abuse of process of law. This kind of targeting must end. Rewards were announced to initiate legal action against #MohammedZubair

Grover: This has been acted upon. UP police did not take any action when this was on social media! IS this how criminal law machinery is being activated against journalist whom you do not agree with?
DYC J: We will list the petition for considering the prayer for interim bail day after tomorrow. In the meantime we can say no precipitate steps can be taken against Zubair between today and day after tomorrow.
DYC J: The contents of these FIRs seem to be similar. The moment he gets a bail in FIR, there seems to be another one. This VICIOUS CYCLE must end.

Upon the petition being mentioned today. Accordingly petition has been taken up on board. The subject matter of these proceedings arises from five FIRs lodged against the petitioner. The petitioner has been granted regular bail on July 15 by Partial House court.
ORDER:
Petitioner was also directed to be enlarged on bail on July 8, 2022 by this court in the Sitapur FIR. It has since been extended pending further order. Since the petition is not on board today, we direct the registry to list it on day after.
ORDER:
No precipitate steps can be taken against the petitioner without the leave of this court. Issue notice.
