It blows my mind how there are two totally different takes on where we’re at with COVID. The nurse and doctor at our pediatrician office told me today that they are seeing their highest rates of COVID and cases are much more severe in kids.
As I left the office, an unmasked women (with her 3 unmasked kids) held the door open for me. She paused when she saw the notice to wear masks and said to me, “I thought this was over” … all while my unmasked son (<2 yo) gives a throaty cough.
I told her what the doctor just informed me about high case counts and severity. Her response: “well that’s not what I’ve heard.” I just don’t get the huge gap in what people led themselves to believe and what is actually happening. 🤯 😫😷 #MaskUp#ItsNotOverYet#vax@PTF_org
Wow this has really taken off! It makes me a feel a little less alone in my attempts to protect my family. I hope others now see that too.
While I have your attention… you’re not alone. We’re all in this together. Be kind to one another. Love is love. You can make a difference, VOTE. If you are eligible to vote, do your part and make a difference.
