evidently the #BoycottWalgreens started with this INSANE story of how one pharmacist went to all sorts of schemes to deny this woman her birth control refill.

Not just *refused to personally do it* but apparently lied about medical records and etc.

.@Walgreens should decide if it wants to standby a few zealous religious fanatics who should and can go into a different line of work or MILLIONS OF AMERICAN WOMEN.
.@walgreens policy as of 2018. This pharmacist lied to the customer, buried the doctor's sign off, did NOT hand off task of filling Rx to other employees, and apparently defied management to deny women more-critical-now-than-ever birth control:
Clearly this pharmacist should be fired, as other employees told this Tik Toker this had happened before.

But more to the point, this is a time of choosing, @Walgreens. Millions of customers or some zealot employees.

The United States may face the most precipitous decline of empire of any empire ever?

Historians still debate the causes of the decline of the Roman empire, or when exactly it began. Wiggle room of a few hundred years. The US will have created, and lost, an empire in under 200 years. Maybe ~150, or less.
Which otoh, good, empires depend on the subjugation of others. Otoh, bad, in that there was always the hope/fantasy that some day an empire could repent for harms, bend toward good.

Also when they fall apart it is usually in chaos and violence.

Been a really long time since I flew international back to US with connecting domestic flight. 3 hrs going to be enough time at JKF to collect bags, do customs?
Correction: 2 hrs, 15 min 😬🤞🏻
Ok….I may have never(!) done this. So we get off plane, get bags, go through customs, switch terminals, and have to go through security as if just arriving (our bags are small enough to be carry on…in US, which may be all that saves us) is that right?
