4) Ripples Report got basic facts about the criminal legal system wrong - like claiming Primary Caretakers, a law that allows parents to ask for community-based sentences, never passed.

5) The Moratorium is a critical act of oversight that the DOC desperately needs. Your editorial argues to give DOC ALL the power and ALL the discretion when it comes.

This well-timed editorial @GlobeOpinion gives shelter for abuse, violence, neglect, & isolation in the DOC that your paper only sometimes condemns.

Yet you have the AUDACITY to write women who have SURVIVED living in Framingham as "ignoring" the basic needs of our people.

We have never ever stopped fighting to free women from Framingham @GlobeOpinion - women like Ms. Angie.

And we REFUSE to let the state build any prison anywhere to incarcerate our daughters and our granddaughters & so on for another 150 years.
