@Gwendolyn_Smith 📺 As series three of his adoption comedy Trying hits TV screens, Rafe Spall talks to @Gwendolyn_Smith about why success doesn’t fix your insecurities, toxic masculinity – and how he wishes he was a more present father.

@Gwendolyn_Smith “Since this sort of reckoning that men have had, we get those men going, ‘Oh, so am I not allowed to talk to a woman anymore? Am I not allowed to chat?’”
🗣 Spall rolls his eyes. “It’s like, you know very well what you’re allowed to do, and what you’re not allowed to do.
@Gwendolyn_Smith “It’s really easy to not grope anyone,” says Spall.
💬 “I mean, obviously, culture has done a pretty good job of making unacceptable behaviour acceptable, or de rigueur. But being decent is pretty easy.”
