In this thread I'll go through Haaland and Kane as FPL options and come to the conclusion which will be the best FPL option for GW1!

These 2 will be battling it out for the highest-scoring forward within FPL this season.

Kane has obviously proven himself within the PL and within FPL, scoring over 150 points every season since 2013/14.

This is Haaland's first season in FPL so we obviously have no history.

Obviously not as good as City's but still decent, Barring that Chelsea game and possibly West Ham. Kane emerges as a captain in GW1 , GW4, GW6. Showing he could be the better pick just for his captaincy.

Summary

It's very hard to tear between these two, both could bang in FPL. However as of now I prefer Kane. Pep has openly admitted to Haaland having "knocks" as well as Erling has only played 1 pre-season game where as Kane has been playing throughout pre-season and has no...

current knocks or niggles, Also Kane's Premier League proven ability leans me towards him.

In my opinion. Haaland is definitely a more explosive pick who could have a higher ceiling for points, where Kane is the safer pick as we know he can peform within the PL and FPL.
