Johnny Depp: "Nick Tosches is still moving forward. He’s so brilliant. He’s one of the ballsiest, most poetic, & rage-filled writers, but he attacks with such calm. And wisdom. I always feel really lucky after I’ve read one of Tosches’s books, because it’s like you’ve had this...
experience with him. And it’s funny because hanging out with him is very much like being in one of his books. In the same way that it was with Hunter S. Thompson. When I hung out with Hunter for all those years, & lived in his basement in Woody Creek, Colorado, we were...
together a lot. I think I even referred to us as deviant bookends at one point. But you were always the other character in the book. He made you his counterpart. So, going to Cuba or being locked in a hotel room in San Francisco with him for five days, it was all true. We did...
end up with 17 grapefruits & 40 salt and pepper shakers, & club sandwiches packed to the ceiling. I mean madness. It’s great to have that be real. There are those who meet their heroes and go, 'Aw, f*ck.' And I’ve never had that, luckily. Starting with Iggy Pop, I was never...
disappointed by the people I’ve admired. And the choices I made, when I was in a position where it was do-or-die, were made with my heroes in mind. Like, 'Cry Baby' was a real important movie for me, to get away from being considered just a TV actor. There was no real...
transition to cinema back then. And then 'Scissorhands' was another step in the direction I wanted to go. Coming at it with the brain of a musician, all I kept thinking about back then is that you don’t want to disappoint those you’ve admired. I didn’t want to disappoint the...
people who had busted down doors before me." #JohnnyDepp

Johnny Depp reading 'In the hands of Dante' by Nick Tosches.
Nick Tosches: "Johnny Depp is, to me, a rare kindred spirit with like sensibilities, who has escaped the beast. He's probably one of the few people that have survived Los Angeles as a human being."

Michele Dauber, a known misandrist/4th-wave feminist uses being a woman to weaponize accusations of misogyny, as both a sword & a shield to her nefarious agenda. Ms. Dauber doesn't care about the truth, the law or the evidence.
Michele Dauber is the Frederick I. Richman Professor at the Stanford Law School, & a Professor of Sociology, by courtesy. @StanfordLaw is prestigious, & yet apparently takes no issue with Ms. Dauber's malicious, heinous campaign of harassment, bullying & misinformation campaigns.
In 2011, Ms. Dauber became cochair of Stanford's Board on Judicial Affairs. Ms. Dauber's committee worked with the provost's office in its years-long revision of the rules. The new process included lowering the burden of proof to a 'preponderance of evidence' & providing for...

"Amber Heard cannot easily use federal bankruptcy laws to avoid paying millions of dollars to actor Johnny Depp, but she might be able to use a bankruptcy proceeding to slow down the payments...." lawandcrime.com/live-trials/li…
Bruce Markell, a professor of bankruptcy law and practice at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Illinois & a former bankruptcy judge says Amber Heard "likely cannot use bankruptcy law to shield herself from having to pay [Johnny] Depp."
"The analysis starts with § 523(a)(6) of bankruptcy law. It says that a 'discharge' of debts under various other sections of the law 'does not discharge an individual debtor from any debt . . . for willful and malicious injury by the debtor to another entity or to the property...

"Newsweek has since spoken with two lawyers about the case. One of them said that [Amber] Heard's decision to appeal the verdict is the right thing to do from a financial point of view, but both said the appeal is unlikely to be successful."
newsweek.com/amber-heard-ap…
"Attorney Andrew M. Lieb said he agreed with [Amber] Heard's team's moves, but he stressed that her appeal 'isn't a slam dunk by any stretch of the imagination. Amber Heard should 100 percent appeal her defamation trial loss against Johnny Depp because she has an as of right...
ability to file an appeal with the Court of Appeals of Virginia and failing to make the filing is an acknowledgment that she is stuck with a $10.35 million verdict against her. She is arguing improper juror service, but only on a technical basis, and absent a causal showing...

@ZacharyLevi is part of the problem, not part of the solution. His statements are ignorant & negate the serious issues facing male domestic violence victims/survivors like Johnny Depp, & the serious issue of malicious false allegations being weaponized by women for personal gain.
Mr. Levi apparently doesn't care about domestic violence at the hands of a female perpetrator, like Amber Heard or her victim Johnny Depp, or the ruination he faced as a result of her malicious, heinous false allegations. Perhaps he would care if he were in that situation.
Mr. Levi might be better served in not commenting on matters in which he is clearly ignorant, given sobering statistic like these. If he had educated himself, he would not male domestic violence & false allegations are "pertinent" to all of our lives & in causing change.

Excellent article by Isabel Burton & definitely worth the read! It's time the mainstream media, the world to acknowledge Amber Heard is the sole perpetrator of domestic violence & made malicious, heinous false allegations against her victim Johnny Depp. msn.com/en-us/entertai…
Amber Heard: "Tell the world, Johnny. Tell them, ‘Johnny Depp, I, a man, I’m a victim, too, of domestic violence, it’s a fair fight,’ & see how many people believe or side with you."

Johnny Depp told the world! A unanimous jury & the majority of the world believe him!
"She explicitly said multiple times on tape that she hit him and tried to make excuses like 'I didn't punch you, I hit you". Lie after lie after lie. She was the aggressor and [Johnny] Depp's team proved it with audio of [Amber] Heard admitting it and then proceeded to gaslight."

There seems to be some confusion in the Depp support community, so please allow me to clarify a few things now.

1. The Judgement in Depp v Heard was officially entered 6/24/22. The case remains in Judge Azcarate's court until 7/15/22.
2. While Judge Azcarate made it implicitly clear in the Judgement hearing 6/24/22 to Amber Heard's attorney Elaine Bredehoft she wouldn't be entertaining new motions, Ms. Heard had the legal right to file this motion 7/1/22: courthousenews.com/wp-content/upl…
3. Judge Azcarate according to @aburkhartlaw has the right to rule on the motion or she can choose to let the 7/15/22 date pass without ruling on the motion.

4. Johnny Depp's legal team has the right to oppose the motion filed by Amber Heard or not.
