You know me, couldn't resist something as angsty as this! (Thank you @GamFRIED for making this free to use!!)

past #bkdk, #DabiDeku cw: omegaverse, child neglect by Katsuki (not Izuku), past mpreg.

A!BK, O!DK, quirkless AU
The moment he saw those damning lines on the pregnancy test, Izuku knew his relationship with Katsuki was over. The Alpha had made it very clear from the start that he absolutely did not want children and had no intentions of settling down any time soon. In fact, it
had been somewhat of a miracle that he’d even agreed to date Izuku. However, to his surprise, Katsuki doesn’t immediately jump ship upon finding out about the pregnancy.
He nods, asks for a couple of hours to think about things and comes home later that night with a book on pregnancy and what a father can expect. Izuku is utterly elated by this.
There’s a chance that his Alpha will stay with them, will try and most importantly not leave Izuku alone to raise a pup neither of them had planned.
Pregnancy is nothing like the things you see on TV. It’s hard, Izuku suffers horribly from the stress it puts on his already thin frame and Katsuki finds the concept of a child growing inside of him so weird he stops sleeping in their bed.
Then the pup is born and for a time everything goes well. Katsuki dotes on the Katsuma and spends as much time with their little boy as possible. Izuku loves coming home from shopping or work to find his Alpha on the floor playing with their son or waking up in the
morning to find Katsuki making breakfast with Katsuma on his hip.

Then, one night, it’s like someone flipped a switch and everything changes.
Katsuki stops touching Izuku, stops looking at him and eventually, conversations between them cease altogether. Once this happens the fighting begins. It’s little things at first, Izuku asking Katsuki to stop leaving things on the side where Katsuma might be able to reach
them, Katsuki arguing that their son can’t even stand let alone grab something off a counter, but eventually, it evolves into more.

They argue over every little thing, from chores to how much money the other spends, even to the way they dress and it’s only when Inko and
Mitsuki have come round to visit their grandson on his third birthday that some sense is knocked into the pair of them.

"You're hurting Katsuma," Mitsuki says, hands on her hips as she stares them both down while Inko tries to calm the crying infant in another room.
"If this is how you always behave around him then no wonder the poor thing is always crying." Both Izuku and Katsuki look down at the floor in shame as she berates them. "I love you both, you know I do, but I'm going to give you an ultimatum now and you will make your decision
in the next week or so help me god I will take you both to court and remove Katsuma from your care."

"Auntie!" Izuku gasps in horror, sitting upright.

"Don't," She says firmly, staring him down until he bites his lip and shrinks in on himself. "Either take yourselves to a
counsellor or get a divorce. You cannot continue to live like this and it's not fair on your son either."

Less than a week later Izuku sits on their couch, a sleeping Katsuma tucked up against his chest, while Katsuki and a remorseful-looking Eijiro move the Alpha's things out.
Katsuki's relationship with their son after their divorce improves tenfold, he shows up on a regular basis for their father-son time and by some miracle, their own relationship begins to mend.
They'll never be romantic partners again, Izuku knows that much, but he hopes they can one day be friends and things certainly go in that direction.

Until Camie comes into their lives that is.
In the beginning, Camie is a nice enough woman, she's polite and is always kind to Katsuma, even bringing him a present for Christmas and his birthday, but Izuku should have known better than to hope it would last.
The day Katsuki announces their engagement is the day Izuku discovers that Camie already had another child, one of a similar age to Katsuma, Hanabi.

Why he kept the other child's existence a secret Izuku will never know, he does know however, that it's part of a string of
events that will damage Katsuma for years to come.

When Katsuki and Camie's daughter is born less than a year after their wedding, one neither Izuku nor Katsuma were invited to, Izuku knows what's about to happen.

It doesn't make it any less painful for their son.
Katsuma's first spelling bee comes around when he's five, something his little boy is so proud of, and Katsuki promised that he would come.

"Where's Papa?" Katsuma asks with tear-filled eyes, clinging onto Izuku's hand as they stand outside the hall.
"I'm sure he's just caught up in traffic," Izuku says, brushing a rogue strand of blonde hair out of his son's eyes. "Why don't you go inside and get ready while I give him a call okay?"

"Okay mama!" He watches as Katsuma runs inside to find his friends then frantically pulls
out his phone to call Katsuki. The Alpha answers after two rings.

"What do you want?"

"Where are you?" Izuku questions furiously "It's Katsuma's first spelling bee and you promised you'd be here for him!"
"Hanabi has a fever and Camie needs me to watch him." Katsuki replies as though it's the most obvious thing in the world, and Izuku sees red.

"What the fuck Katsuki?" He hisses, "Are you seriously telling me, five minutes before it starts, that you aren't coming?! Do you know
how excited Katsuma was for his Papa to come? To see how smart he is? He's your son for crying out loud!"

"So's Hanabi," Katsuki shoots back "Would you rather I left a sick five-year-old on his own?!"

"I'd rather you had told me in advance so I could have asked Eijiro or Shoto
to come! Now Katsuma is going to have to see an empty seat where his Papa should be and I'm going to have to try and explain why!"

"You'll think of something, you always do." Katsuki huffs then hangs up before Izuku can get another word in.

(Tweet limit!)
Izuku's heart breaks into a million pieces when his son steps out onto the stage with a bright smile, a smile that breaks as soon as he spots the empty seat next to his dam.

He's going to raise hell after they're done celebrating Katsuma's win.
One missed event turns into three, and then Katsuki starts skipping his designated days without any warning.

It starts with an "I'm so sorry, I had a meeting I forgot about and absolutely cannot miss!" Then come the promises of calling Katsuma back after missing yet another
day, only for those calls to never come.

The excuses begin to pile up and Izuku keeps track of them all in a tiny notebook his mother had suggested using:

"It's the baby's 100th day, I can't miss it."

"Sorry, kid's got a presentation at school and wants me there."
"I've got too much work to do Izuku, what do you want me to do? Skip and not get paid? I've got three kids to support for fucks sake."

"Ain't gonna make it, got something important that needs to be done today."
Each excuse is another nail in the coffin of Katsuki's relationship with Katsuma and Izuku has to watch as his son's heart breaks with each missed day.

"Is Papa coming today Mama?" Katsuma asks after the twelfth time he failed to show, sitting in the window with his tiny
All Might toy, a gift from Katsuki for his fourth birthday, held tightly in his hands. The tears staining his cheeks make Izuku's knees weak and he doesn't hesitate to gather his baby into his arms and kiss his head.

"I'm sorry Katsuma," He whispers, kissing his head.
Then comes the day when Katsuma is invited to Hanabi's birthday party and Izuku reluctantly takes him at his son's insistence.

Eijiro is the only familiar face at the gathering, his and Mina's daughter being the only reason for his presence and Izuku spends the time catching
up with him while the children play. Then he hears it.

"My little cracker," Katsuki laughs "You need to stop growing so much!" Izuku's heart soars. Finally! He's wanted to hear Katsuki say those words to Katsuma for months now.
A tiny hand clutches his trousers and Izuku looks down only to be met by the sight of Katsuma looking over longingly at Katsuki who's lifted Hanabi up onto his hip.

"Ah shit," He hears Eijiro curse.

Katsuki has just used the nickname he'd given their son on another child.
Katsuma doesn't cry, but Izuku knows his son well enough to know his heart has just been irreparably damaged.

Izuku stops trying after that.

He still lets Katsuma visit Katsuki, when the Alpha can be bothered to pick him up, however, when the day comes that his son quietly
asks if they can do something together instead of going with his Papa, Izuku doesn't hesitate in telling Katsuki where to shove his visitations.

Instead of subjecting his son to a day of being ignored by his ex, Izuku declares those days as their own fun days.
They explore the areas of the city they've never been to before, and take the train to the city over where his mum lives. Katsuma adores Granny Inko and it gives Izuku a chance to talk to Mitsuki and Masaru to explain the situation.
Before they head back to the station they make a detour to a local bakery to collect some food for the journey and there Izuku meets the most wonderful Alpha.

On the outside, Touya is everything his mother had always told him to avoid. Covered in tattoos and piercing, the Alpha
is an intimidating sight for sure, however, his voice and the gentle smile he gives Katsuma before coming around the counter to tell him about all of the cakes behind the glass has Izuku's heart fluttering.
He's still not quite sure how he managed to get through the interaction, but he does and they walk away with several anpan, a couple of cookies and a mobile number written on the receipt.
Touya, as it turns out, is everything Katsuki wasn't.

Whenever they stop by his bakery, one he established after his younger siblings insisted on it, which happens to be every weekend while they conveniently visit Inko, Touya sneaks extra treats to
Katsuma and flirts freely with Izuku. They text to start with, nervous and short sentences, and eventually, that evolves into phone calls and video chats.

Finally, during one visit Touya flips the sign on the door, asks Katsuma to go and test the cookies in the kitchen and turns
to look at Izuku.

"I'd really like to kiss you and take you on a date if that's okay with you?" Too stunned for words Izuku can only nod.

On top of being extremely attractive, Touya is also a damn good kisser.
Their weekend trips to visit Katsuma's grandparents quickly become weekend visits to Touya and Katsuma is overjoyed.

Sure, he adores his Grannies and Grandpa but Touya is so much fun! He takes them to the playground and pushes him super high on the swings! Whenever Mama isn't
looking Touya will sneak him the tastiest treats and once when he fell over running around, Touya was there before Mama to pick him up, brush the dirt off his knees and kiss his hurt hand better.

Katsuma doesn't even realise that he calls Touya 'Papa' one night as they walk
home from the cinema, only that he really enjoys the warmth of the older Alpha and feels safe enough to doze in his arms.

Mama's a little too small to carry him now, and his other Papa doesn't like him much anymore, but Touya does and Touya does everything a Papa should do. So
obviously he should call Touya Papa as well.

As he drifts off to sleep he misses the wide-eyed look Touya gives his Mama and the warm smile Mama gives back to him.
Touya comes to visit them a lot more after that. He starts spending the night in their small apartment, fitting perfectly into their routine and filling the gap Katsuki had left in Katsuma's life.

It's easy to forget that Katsuma isn't biologically his, however, as Izuku watches
him run around their living room with Katsuma on his back making aeroplane noises and listens to his son's happy giggles, Izuku finds himself caring less and less about his ex with each passing day.
Touya moving into their apartment a year later was just them finally completing the puzzle.

(Tweet limit again!)
Their life with Touya is perfect. He's everything Izuku had hoped Katsuki would be and more.

On the days Izuku cannot collect Katsuma from school Touya is there. When he fell off the swings and broke his arm? Touya bundled them both into the car and rushed them up the hospital.
There's also another shocking thing they discover about Touya that comes about while Izuku and Katsuma are both laid up in bed with a horrible fever.
Shoto comes round to deliver the food Izuku had asked him to collect for them and the ensuing silence lasts long enough that Izuku drags himself out of bed. He finds both Touya and Shoto staring at one another with wide eyes before they're hugging.
Apparently, his best friend and his Alpha were estranged brothers. Who knew?

Katsuma is over the moon once he's recovered and finds out that 'Uncle Shoto' is /really/ his uncle.

Shoto is less so when his brother and adopted nephew pair up to prank him on a regular basis.
-

Katsuki's not stupid, far from it. He notices when Katsuma starts to pull away from him, it's hard not to when your son does nothing but sit quietly on the sofa or stare at his food dejectedly.
That being said, he puts it down to his kid being jealous of the newborn. Hanabi was so it only made sense that Katsuma would be too.

When Izuku calls him to inform him that Katsuma no longer wants to come round to visit, Katsuki just shrugs it off.

No big deal.
The kid's old enough to make his decisions and if he wants to go through the 'I hate my dad' phase a few years early then let him. He went through it himself after all, and he's certain it won't take long for Katsuma to come out the other side.
The realisation that no, it is not a phase, hits him like a brick to the face when he's invited to Katsuma's eighth birthday party three years later.

For once he's actually able to attend. Camie is off visiting her parents with the kids while Katsuki stayed at home to work.
He's just slipped in through the side gate and is making a beeline for Eijiro, his best friend stands beside a BBQ with his daughter on his shoulders, when he sees Katsuma running across the grass in the opposite direction with an ice cream in hand.
A heavily tattooed man intercepts the little rocket before he can trip and fall, and Katsuki scowls.

Who the hell is that? And why is he at /his/ son's birthday party?

"That's Touya." Katsuki absolutely does not jump as his behemoth of a friend appears at his side, setting
Mina's mini-me down so she can go and play with the other kids.

"Nice to see you too." He shoots back with a scowl.

Eijiro ignores his bite and crosses his arms over his chest.

"I'm surprised you actually showed up. Camie loosen your leash for once?"
It's an argument they've had a thousand times over since Katsuki and Camie got married and he really isn't in the mood for it.

"I'm not having an argument with you about my wife while we're at my son's birthday party." Eijiro grunts in response, his gaze moving from Katsuki to
the man who is now kneeling in front of Katsuma, wiping food and god knows what else off of his face with a napkin. "You know him?"

"He's Shoto's brother, the one that went missing like ten years ago."

"Really? Well shit...still doesn't explain why he's here."
Eijiro sighs and lazily turns back to him, "He and Izuku are dating, have been for three years now."

That certainly catches Katsuki's attention.

"Deku's dating?" Whatever reply Eijiro had lined up was lost when Katsuki heard Katsuma's giggles. He'd almost forgotten how adorable
his son's laughter was. That's when the ball drops.

"Thank you Papa!" Katsuma says, offering his ice-cream to the man.

Papa?!

Katsuki's Papa! Not some tattoed wannabe!

Who does he think he is?! Stealing Katsuki's kid like he's some super Alpha.
"Say anything to Izuku or Touya and I'll throw you out of here so fast your head will spin." Eijiro hisses under his breath and Katsuki believes him. He's seen the other man throw bigger people around during his stint as a bouncer.
"Be careful with your clothes my little star, we don't want to get dirty today. Mama will tell us off." He hears the apparently not-dead Todoroki sibling say.

The warm smile on his face as he looks at Katsuki's son has his inner Alpha raging.
Katsuma giggles once again and leans in for a hug. Were it not for their relatively close proximity and Katsuki's exceptional hearing, he wouldn't have heard the words that make him realise just how much he's messed up.
"Love you," Katsuma says happily, scenting the other man as all pups do with their parents "You're the bestest Papa."
Something on his face must give him away because Eijiro hums and smacks him on the back, a little harsher than necessary and Katsuki stumbles before righting himself.

"You messed up Kats. Good luck coming back from this."
Katsuki watches on in silence as the other Todoroki interacts with his son, then has to force himself to remain where he was when Izuku steps outside carrying a couple of drinks.

The other Alpha easily lifts Katsuma onto his hip and takes the glass offered to him.
Whatever he says has Katsuma hiding his face in his neck and Izuku laughing before Alpha and pup run off to join the rest of the kids in the garden.

Green eyes meet his and Izuku's mouth opens in shock.
Has he really been so absent that his mere presence at his son's birthday would be a shock?

There are a lot of things he can do now.

He could confront Izuku, and demand to know who the strange Alpha is and /why/ he's around Katsuki's son.
He could threaten the competing Alpha, and force him out via a dominance fight.

He could also try and convince Katsuma to come over to him, to spend time with /him/.

Katsuki does none of those. Instead, he nods to Izuku and turns to Eirjiro passing over a small present.
"Make sure that goes with the others for me will ya?" Eijiro raises an eyebrow but takes the gift without complaint and nods. "Thanks." And with that Katsuki Bakugo puts his hands in his pockets and leaves.
There's no coming back from this, he knows that now.

He was a shitty father and pushed his first son away in the process. He just hopes that their relationship isn't permanently gone and that one day, just maybe, he might be able to reconnect with Katsuma.
When and if Katsuma wants to get in contact with him Katsuki will be waiting, he's not going to force the issue. He's already done enough damage and if walking away, if giving another Alpha the chance to raise his son as he should have done, gives him a good life?
Well, Katsuki hopes he has the best one possible.

END
Again, thank you @/GamFRIED for making this free to use! I had an absolute blast with this and hope it fits in with what you had in mind!

Back on the omegaverse #toshinko train! (Stupid fluff ahead)

A!Inko, O!Toshinori

Everyone always assumed that All Might was an Alpha, why wouldn't they? With his stereotypical 'Alpha' body and personality it just never crossed their minds that he could be anything else.
Until someone snaps a shot of him sneaking out of the back of an Omega clinic that is.

The press goes more than a little wild with speculations. Some wonder if he was there to support a secret Omega of his, others accuse him of being a creep and then there's the small group of
people who claim that the Number 1 is an Omega himself and everyone should stop thinking of Omegas as tiny beings with no muscles ffs.

It's actually Nighteye who accidentally reveals the truth.

They knew when they first decided to go public with their relationship that doing so would put Izuku at risk.
They had spent hours discussing it in the privacy of their home with not only Katsuki's friends but a plethora of private security consultants. After all, Dynamight was one of the most sought-after Alphas in the country, and everyone was painfully aware that announcing he was in
a long-standing, committed relationship with an Omega, a quirkless one at that, would never go down well with his more obsessive fans.

And it doesn't.

Within 24hrs Izuku has already deactivated every social media he has, unable to take the horrible threats he receives and

Katsuki goes to work in the US as part of a hero exchange, leaving Izuku behind to to take care of their newborn baby.

Everything is fine to begin with, they video call on a regularly, Katsuki watches from
afar as their baby goes from an infant to a babbling toddler. Then the calls stop. Katsuki's too busy with work and no longer has the time, and Izuku doesn't want to put pressure on him.
Five years after Katsuki left he finally comes home, only home isn't what he left behind.

Injuries were far from uncommon in their line of work, and it wasn’t unusual for Katsuki or Izuku to wake up in a hospital bed. So when Katsuki found himself waking up to the familiar sight of the hospital ceiling, he wasn’t surprised.
He was however surprised to find Kirishima sitting by his bedside, eyes red as though he had been crying, staring at his hands. Normally Izuku would be the one sitting beside him, a book in his lap while he wore one of Katsuki’s hoodies.
