#Ukraine #Elenovka #russiaisateroriststate I won't share graphic pictures of the Olenivka prison bombing but a short analysis after seeing the videos. The village is 15 km from the contact line. And since the beginning of the invasion has never been bombed. 1/6

Russian forces are announcing 53 victims, mostly ukrainian POW from Mariupol. And they claim it was a HIMARS strike. There is 2 main indicators that is a lie.

screenshot taken from DNR telegram channel. First indication is the damage. HIMARS payload on such a building would have blown the walls. As you can see only the roof collapsed (and only partially). Which would indicate more of a MLRS/mortar type of strike 3/6

From the same screenshot, a WAY more important information. The direction of the sun. As highlighted by the red arrow. Roof and wall damage indicate the direction of the blast coming same direction as the sun. This video was taken in the morning of 29 july. 4/6

In the morning in Olenivka, sun rises from the East, indicating that the strike originated from russian held territory (see above screenshot & angle of light around 40-45°). Considering the damage and burn marks my guess is 9M22S grad strike 5/6
