I won't lie, I think I'm the most privileged person on Twitter. Eternally grateful to everyone who has interacted in good faith with me. I love how fluid football as a thinking subject can be, how vast and deep a field.
I'm 22 this year and this is just the beginning. Thanks.
I may have come across as obnoxious or overly authoritative at times and I apologize to everyone who has ever felt oddly about that.
Football is not about right or wrong, it's about the right thinking and the right approaches. Every single day, I try to better that.
To René Maric and the people at Spielverlagerung, Carlon Carpenter and the host at American Soccer Analysis, the cast at Scouted Football, to Simon and Training Ground Guru, to Tim Keech and the team at Insight Marketing, the many people and platforms I've benefited from.
The list is actually endless but today I've chosen to write a thread to highlight some platforms that will help you get better at perceiving football and hugely deserve your support. Most of them offer a large amount of free product for you to try out!
Anticipate!
Everyone wants a reveal. There's your reveal. I'm older than most of y'all 👍🏽.

Selhurst Park won't be easy for Arsenal. It is probably the most difficult non-Top 6 tie in the league. But it is also a very good test for the level of our team. Palace will be compact and well-drilled and roaring. We'll have to be flawless in buildup and brave in the challenge.
It is the kind of atmosphere, the kind of game, you want to control. No silly giveaways of the ball, no doubts or nervousness, no giving the crowd something to feed off on. We must play the football we have trained to play with bravery.
Control the game for the first 15 minutes.
If we can do that—set the tone and the pace early on, the match is going to resolve itself. An early goal would be a big help as it would help with our composure that bit better. Whether that's from a setpiece or open play, we must be ready to grab a goal when the opportunity
Football consists of a large amount of small value, discrete actions. Let's call that 'SVDAs'.
In good teams, each action is premeditated to help the ball arrive in a good shooting location, so, SVDAs on a good team have more inherent value than on an average or bad team.
This means that a switch of play is more valuable at Liverpool than at Everton because it is more likely to lead to the probability of a good shot taken.
Good teams have repeatable circuits of play and they repeat those circuits a lot.
Since those circuits help them create a
an above average number of good shots, players who can reliably execute their small value, discrete actions many times over are very valuable. Because they consistently contribute to the repeatable circuits of play.
However, there are also high impact actions that need to be
While on the topic, I think the least you can do on the TP allegations is to respectfully shut up your mouth. Football is a tiny aspect of life and we know occurrences like this are a possibility.
The very least you can afford the lady is some empathy. I'm ashamed of many of you
Even if the allegations turn out completely untrue, you affording empathy to the accuser is a proof of your humanity. It costs you nothing, takes nothing and yet you can't even do that.
What does that say of you and how callous your heart must be.
People just mindlessly shout 'Innocent until proven guilty' and 'benefit of doubt' without stopping to think if TP has actually been deprived of that by the justice system.
I'm no fan of outrage culture but he hasn't. He is enjoying the benefits of that right now.
Older women are amazing, though. So approachable, so mature, so helpful. They come without baggages. I don't think I'd even be here, alive, without them. Rooting for them and their lives is such a great vibe, too.
I didn't even realize the tweet had a hint of sexual energy about it.
People waste so much energy, thought and potential relationships on getting laid, though. Women are the best relationship material around if you can stop looking at them as bounty. They are genuinely wonderful
The things that Martinelli was doing in the EPL at 18. Eager to see him get more robust back to goal. Could easily play striker for a team that utilizes direct runs like Liverpool.
At Arsenal, he has to play with his back to goal to a high standard (which is a difficult ask).
The CBs in the EPL are huge and place a huge amount of pressure on strikers. Arsenal's demands to keep it on the floor and the CF to consistently act as a +1 requires robust strength and good technique. Martinelli isn't best at either. Not a great passer, too.
People are seriously underestimating Arsenal again.
Arsenal brought in MA to create a City-style game model. Knowing the potential of that model, all they need is
—Tactical competency from Mikel to execute it.
—Similar profile players in the model.
Arsenal are achieving BOTH.
Arsenal can take large, unusual jumps in quality every season BECAUSE of the crazy potential of the game model.
For example, we barely had consistent a high press for most of Mikel's reign. This will be a permanent feature going forward. That takes the project to another level.
You have to factor crazy jumps in tactical operations + the new players Arsenal are getting to genuinely understand the level of improvement they are making.
All of Zinchenko, Vieira and Jesus don't just improve Arsenal, they allow us to try things we didn't even have before.
