Over the last few years, I have heard of a few incidents of suicide by students including medical students especially from India (where pressure is tremendous)
All parents/ teachers should keep a look out for students vulnerable to self harm.
They must know we are here to listen.
Although it seems like there is no hope and everything seems severely problematic at that moment in time, it’s important to voice your fears and concerns to someone sympathetic if you have suicidal thoughts.
Having someone who listens is often very therapeutic in itself.
It’s important to realise that some make it early in life and some make their fortune later.
Remember #MorganFreeman … he got a good break after 58 years of age! It’s important to be resilient.
Remember Srila Prabhupada who made his life serving others including drug addicts in New York.. talking about Sri Krishna. He walked barefoot in the snow.. he was 69 years of age at the time. Most people stop trying at that age.
Remember that time is a relative number!
The point I am trying to make is that no matter the intensity of your troubles at the moment.. it will get better with time… time heals all. Do not take that step to commit suicide.. talk to someone. It’s important to find someone who is sympathetic and who can suggest a way out
To women and young girls.. do NOT give up your life over some useless man.. time will heal your heart too.
👇🏻
You will find someone else eventually.

1: In general, if you have not been born in India or to Indian parents, or acquire a genuine Indian teacher (these last two may still not be useful).. it is almost impossible.
Why?
Slow 🧵
Why do I say this?
It’s because, the ability to pronounce Sanskrit syllables correctly and properly and at some speed .. all are important for mantra Anusthana.
If you can’t recite a mantra correctly, you are basically going to have trouble completing even 108 japa, let alone 10k
2. If you have not been born in India or to Indian parents, or acquire a genuine Indian teacher is what I said earlier.
However:
Some manage despite the first two by grace of 3 descending on them.
But they are few and far in between now:
Western Disciples of Neem Karoli/ Dr RS eg
A few wonder whether Sadhana will cause some problems in their life.
This is a very general question for a concept with numerous nuances.
🧵
In general, most people never do the kind of sadhana which will lead to situations developing.
Only few have that devotion and intensity+
+ what I mean to say is that causing a problem to develop in your life due to Sadhana requires great intensity and of course devotion.
👇🏻
Most people will never get to that point
Question: 1. Will that problem situation arise anyway and when?+
+ 2. Does that sadhaka hv devotion
Answer to first question:
When Sadhana becomes one pointed and intense, it causes a burning of the karana shareer (causal body) to occur: that brings about all your troubles which would happen over next 10 years …. in a single month.. or faster!
Burning karmas at great speed.
On the occasion of this Rahu Mars conjunction, a short evolving thread on Jinn (Jinnat): (since a few have evinced interest)
🧵
In general NEVER go into the Sadhana of Jinn etc.
I believe very few people have the spiritual capability to actually master Jinn/ Jinnat.
Most people who claim success at it eventually are bound by that which they think they have control of.
Hindu Tantra vidya has teevra prayogas to stop the prabhava of these things..
You may remember Pooja Swami of Datia.. he had complete control of that Jagat by grace and blessings of the Great Goddess- Baglamukhi!
I don’t think even a few others reached that level of control.
🧵 on Brahmacharya:
This is perhaps the one most powerful thing in the Universe... that by which an ordinary person is transformed... the detrimental effects of non Brahmacharya on memory, on understanding and certainly on spiritual strength are well known to any sadhaka.
2. Paramacharya is quoted..but Swami Sivananda, Vivekananda and many others say exactly the same .... BUT the issue is that most people do not do sadhana..
For even those people the effects are noticeable... Paramacharya speaks at a time when people did sadhana.. they understand
3.
For Gayatri mantra..when Brahmacharya is maintained for 12 years (in an age when these things were normal and at a time in life when it comes naturally (12-24)..when Gayatri is recited with emphasis on certain syllables) the person channels that force with laser focus.
Many people take a placement of a Graha in a house as immutable and absolute.
It’s not quite so. A trine Lord Mars in the 7th is NOT the same as a kendra Lord Mars in that house.
Predictions go completely awry for various reasons.
Slow 🧵
The trikona lords when placed in a kendra have a role to play beyond the ordinary:
Why?
5th Lord of intelligence is not just that BUT also Mantreshwar!
9th Lord is Bhagyaeshwar!
Connection between these and kendras can change life dramatically.
I pointed this out elsewhere in a longer thread years ago.
If you find some chart with Mantreshwar (5th Lord) in Raja yoga from all 3 ascendants (Lagna/Moon/Sun) then the person’s potential is unleashed from Purva Punya bestowing Mantra power which is impossible to imagine…
Some Yogis make that “one Rasa” or taste as “bitter” as possible with only occasional interludes say twice or thrice a year.
Interaction with Agni which is “living” compared to “mobile/television” screens allows the mind’s craving to be satisfied throughly conferring peace.
You will find that some will make excessive demands of people - I want this this variety of food.. I want this this gadget (new gadget attraction).. all this comes from the craving of the tongue for Rasa.
Some yogis will eat only one food for years and control this craving..
One teacher used to say “To check the mental proclivity of a student from past birth, check his or her food in this birth.. if they ate one food for 10-15 years daily, usually they might be a sanyasi or yogi in past lives..”
He used to give example: Vrindawan’s widow ashram food.
