For people living in Arizona, you need to know that the people who are telling you that the 2020 Election was "stolen" are LYING to you. Lying to your faces. In order to get elected. And/or to get you to give them money. #ArizonaPrimary

Far too often nowadays, I see someone spouting the absolutely craziest conspiracy theories I’ve ever heard. Straight up lies. Padded room territory,
Then they add in some profanity for good measure.
Add some more craziness.
And then they top it all off with “JESUS IS WITH US!”
Dear liars, conspiracy peddlers, nutcases and budding domestic terrorists:
Please listen to me.
Jesus is NOT with you. You can talk about Him all you want to. But the chances are high that when you do meet Him, his first words will be “Depart From Me!”
I don't have a Heaven or Hell to put anyone in. I need to check myself. But, for those who talk about Jesus, this is what the Bible says:
"Now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility,
Kansas is undoubtedly a red state. But it's not as red as people think.
Trump won Kansas by a healthy margin. But, even with that, he won the state by the lowest margin of any Republican Presidential nominee since Bob Dole in 1992.
I’ve never made a secret of the fact that I like @Sen_JoeManchin. In fact, I think the Democrats would basically put the Republicans away if they had a couple more Joe Manchin-types running in rural states.
Any winning coalition needs people who are unlike the rest of the group.
The only problem I ever had with him, really, was his unwillingness to bust the filibuster for the sake of getting the voting rights legislation passed.
Voter suppression, gerrymandering everywhere it can and, if needed, overturning elections are key elements of GOP strategy.
But one thing I like about Manchin is that he puts his money where his mouth is.
He didn’t like the original voting rights bills the Democrats crafted. But he didn’t just say no. He went off and created his own bill which he could support.
One of the most important forms of education is something you can't learn from a book. It's the education that comes from getting familiar with and comfortable with people who are different than ourselves.
Because only when you meet enough people from different backgrounds can you really be sure that we're actually not that different at all. No matter what color we are. Or where we come from. Or whether or not people say we have an "accent."
We're all motivated by the same basic things. We all are trying to survive. We want to be able to prosper and get ahead. We want our families to be safe. And we all want to be able to feel respected and know that there's a place for us.
I never believed that racism was dead. But I didn’t realize that racism was SO alive.
The past six years have taught me that racism is not just alive but has been taking vitamins, lifting weights and getting a face lift.
And I used to believe that a lot of self- described conservative leaders wanted to win power through our constitutional democratic elections.
As it turns out, many only care about the winning power part. The constitution and democracy parts - meh.
I’m convinced that there are a lot of people who view the changing complexion of America as some sort of existential crisis which justifies every means as a path to accomplishing their end.
There have been three very important pieces of BIPARTISAN legislation passed by the Senate in the last 12 months.
And there are a number of Republican Senators up for re-election this year who voted against every single one of them.
Last August, 19 Senate Republicans joined all 50 Senate Democrats to vote for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
(Even some Republicans who voted against it went around claiming credit for the bill’s badly needed help in repairing our highways and bridges).
After every mass shooting, many Republicans talk about our nation’s mental health crisis. And so after the shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act was passed with the help of 15 of the 50 GOP Senators along with every Democratic Senator.
