I don't see anything about this directory which looks good if one is a Conservative. It has the link leading to Baber's page. It shows links to adopting a trucker, supporting health professionals who are anti-vaccine for everything, .. /1

conspiracy blogs to rail against WEF/WHO/etc, organizations for the overthrow of gov't (Veterans 4 Freedom), wanting to open up Canada at all costs, Conservative leadership candidates on there, etc. /2
Now I can definitely understand how the Freedom Convoy 2022 got started up so fast with these vast networks and the CPC connections just prove how imbedded the CPC is with the Freedom Convoy and these movements, many of whom are on the extreme right. /3
But all Canadians need to see that today's Conservative party is for overthrow of gov't, aligning with dangerous forces, aligning with anarchists, aligning with anti-health individuals, aligning with those who would harm and infect others, etc. This is massive. /4
This looks terrible for the party. I doubt anyone would ever report this, but these connections are in fact dangerous and it wouldn't take very much to organize something to bring down the gov't, with these forces. The CPC should definitely be investigated by its connections. /5
I think at the very least an RCMP investigation has to go into the Convoy and all actors involved, and the CPC and their connections and I would argue that has to occur from top to bottom, going into a complete and thorough investigation by all authorities! /6

Roman Baber is saying what Conservatives are too afraid to say in public. This not only contains deplorables language against all progressives, Liberals, Greens and social democrats, but it also goes against what most Canadians believe in. /1

#cdnpoli
The Conservative party through Baber's language believes that since we are only 1.5% of global emissions that we should just throw our hands up and do nothing. But the Conservatives did those exact things for 10 years. Well the planet doesn't have 10 years. /2
But for a Conservative to be saying these things in 2022 shows that they don't care about future generations, the planet, the need to do anything, and that is based on the motion which their party passed last year which wants no action to be taken on climate change. /3

The media and politicians have to call out this nonsense because there is no way a nation can inflation-proof itself in a globalized world, and Poilievre already been embarrassed by using crypto and saying that is how people can opt-out of inflation. He is lying again.

#cdnpoli
So now he is saying that you can produce more oil and gas and food and somehow that will create the conditions to opt-out of inflation? No serious economist would ever agree with that. Employment also doesn't make a person or their family free from inflation during a crisis.
How many people lost their shirts because of Poilievre's words. That alone should have been enough to disqualify him from continuing to run and spread his lies, simple answers and misinformation and disinformation.

Your colleague Chong warned that regulations are important to protect against people losing their homes, for regulations to protect the environment. You abandoned for 10 years with Harper young people and presided over a lost generation. /1

#cdnpoli
You also said that you don't want any welfare state, no safety nets, no public health care system, no action on climate change. The Conservative party also wanted no benefits for Canadians when we could have ended up in a Great Depression. Canadians cannot trust the CPC. /2
Your gov't from 2006 to 2015 did nothing on housing. Inflation is a global phenomenon caused by global forces, and energy does not get produced by oil and gas and oil is not triggered by inflation and it is an internationally traded commodity. /3

Most of it comes from the Conservative party and their alignment with the far-right and amplifying that up and limiting it to foreign interference is missing the big picture and seems to be a way to shift blame. This is what happens when you flirt with the far-right.

#cdnpoli
But it is also coddling the far-right and like Manning said wanting to harness it. Well we have seen what coddling and giving oxygen to the far-right means which is businesses being attacked, people ramming gates and death threats and seeking to overthrow gov't.
But the Conservatives are palling around with the far-right, racists, homophobes, those who wish to hang progressive politicians, those who wish to scapegoat and force people out of politics. So no the Conservatives and PPC are 100% responsible. Who will hold them to account?!

We need to lay down some facts in response to Poilievre's tweet where he said Harper had strong economic growth and did a great job in power. The facts beg to differ and why Harper was removed from power. Here is my thread to outline some clear facts. /1

Harper growth record worst since R.B. Bennett

"This government has only one prescription for everything – austerity, austerity and more austerity." /2
"That’s the message coming from the Bank of Canada this week. But it seems lost on this government. Mr. Harper has the worst economic growth record since the dismal days of R.B. Bennett." /3

The new Liberal government is set to reverse controversial labour laws passed by Stephen Harper's Conservatives in the last Parliament, but the Tories are already signalling they could use their majority in the Senate to block passage of the legislation.
Conservatives even considered killing the bill.

But Gérard Deltell, the Conservatives' labour critic, said his party would consider asking Tory senators to kill the bill.
"We'll fight for that for sure," Deltell said. "The second chamber will do its job. We are sure that senators will do what they have to do for that."

So whenever you see Conservatives say that they stand for workers, their first acts were to be anti-union.
