Logical for Guardsmen to participate in Ex Garuda Shield — the Natuna Islands (570 km) are w/in range of RSAF CH-47Fs. The SAF’s 7 SIB’s increased familiarisation w USARPAC heli-ops essential for coalition ops.

Air assault helicopters can be refuelled at sea by USN or RSN LPDs.
Given that the scenario is coalition ops in support of the TNI to take back Natuna Islands, golden hour medical evacuation for the injured can be to a role 1 hospital sitting off the coast — eg. RSS Resolution (208) deployed in support of the US Army led coalition air assault. Image
The SAF did not send airborne troopers to Ex Garuda Shield; instead the army deployment force supported by RSS Resolution (208) was tasked in an air assault role.

RSS Resolution can also carry a role 1 medical module, to provide golden hour medical coverage, for the coalition. Image
As with all tri-service combined arms live firing exercises, a good medical coverage plan is essential for safety of the coalition’s exercise troops — this includes planning for any no dove medical evacuation — during Ex Garuda Shield.
While RSS Resolution supports ops in Ex Garuda Shield, RSS Supreme (73) defends the amphibious task group & de-conflict coalition aircraft in the area. Below, RSS Supreme served as sea combatant commander at #RIMPAC & fired an Aster 30 missile at day 40.

Deconfliction by RSS Supreme is such a crucial task for air ops during Ex Garuda Shield — failure to do so means death during war. On 27 Feb 2019, the Indian Air Force (while fighting the Pakistan Air Force), shot down its own IAF Mi-17 helicopter flying from Srinagar air base. Image

@eddytzani97 1. As Dr Ng said, Singapore does not “…depend on another country to come to our rescue. If Singaporeans will not or cannot defend Singapore, there is no backstop. A strong SAF acts a deterrence against aggression towards us & keeps adventurism at bay.”
@eddytzani97 2. A few years ago, my son told me that based on his initial medical screening, he was ineligible to serve in a combat unit. I went with him for more medical tests to provide evidence he could serve — later, he completed 38 weeks of OCS in 2018 & is now a LTA in the reserves.

1. Hamas aided by the pro-Palestinian Malaysian cyber army are doing great work to push their narrative.

2. These terrorist supporters are using a picture of an Israeli kid killed by Hamas & claiming it was a Palestinian killed in an air strike.
