Huh. Just learned #Elvis Presley's manager was a man who immigrated illegally at age 20 from the Netherlands and changed his name to Tom Parker.
Never would've thought that the guy who discovered Elvis was a Dutch immigrant who spoke with a heavy accent and (one assumes?) knew little about the American music scene.
Anyway, the new Elvis movie looks fantastic. I love #BazLurrman's visual work so this should be beautiful to watch.
(I also grew up, literally, listening to Elvis. My dad used to weightlift to Elvis records. Know all his songs by heart)
