The Centre for Strategic Communication has learned that Amnesty International researchers were operating on the occupied territories, including filtration camps and jails, and thus, some of the interviews conducted for the notorious recent report may have been conducted there.1/3
Sometimes a "correct" interview was the only chance to go through filtration and leave the occupied territories. In addition, materials collected during research by independent journalists and volunteers sometimes were subject to verification by FSB. 2/3
This means that information obtained from witnesses on the ground may have been obtained under significant pressure and should have never been used as "evidence" in a report of this scale and significance. 3/3
NOTE: the researchers were not present on the occupied territories in person, but rather obtained information from there using a network of volunteers and journalists.

During the recent information attack against Ukraine, @CBSNews published an ominous story about Western weapons allegedly "disappearing" in Ukraine and being used for "unknown purposes." Here are some facts and points refuting the story. 1/6
First, the use of weapons provided to Ukraine is not questioned by its partners, including the EU and the USA. The White House is constantly in contact with Kyiv about a number of issues, including this one. 2/6
There is a EUCOM Control Centre of Ukraine operating in Stuttgart, Germany, which directly oversees the provision of weapons to Ukraine and their further use. This Centre has not expressed any doubts or criticism, either. 3/6
The voluntary entity "Azov" was formed back in 2014. Since then, many things have changed, but Russian propaganda keeps calling Azov a "battalion." THREAD 1/7
Currently, Azov is a special purpose unit , and a regiment under the National Guard of Ukraine. The regiment is guided by official military charters, and the personnel doesn`t have to adhere to any particular political ideology. Only citizens of Ukraine serve there 2/7
Azov has clearly followed two hardest orders of the Ukrainian command: first, it effectively held the defense of Mariupol under full siege, and then it stopped resistance in an organized manner 3/7
Is Russia a serious economic player? THREAD
The economy of Russia is insignificant compared to the real superpowers - the USA and China. All that Russia can offer the world are raw materials, not products or services.
More than 60% of Russian exports are fuel, energy and metals. 2/4
Last night, Russians fired at, and killed, some of their Ukrainian prisoners of war, who had been transferred to a separate building a few days before. Here is what we know about yet another war crime committed by the aggressors. 1/n
The crime took place in Olenivka colony, Donetsk oblast. The purpose was twofold: to blame their own war crimes on Ukraine, and to hide the facts of torture and executions committed by Russian soldiers on orders of the occupation administration. 2/n
The crime appears carefully planned, both due to the fact that there are no "legitimate" military targets in Olenivka, and because of the speedy propagandist disinformation campaign that accompanied the execution. 3/n
The most cruel Russian missile strikes on civilian targets in Ukraine.
These are just a few of the countless atrocities committed by Russia.
The terrorist country must face punishment. THREAD 1/10 #RussiaTerroristState
