We won’t know how fully insane the FBI raid on Trump is until we see the warrant and warrant application. But after Russiagate – years of investigation predicated largely on Clinton campaign misinformation -- if the basis for this isn’t bedrock-solid, there should be hell to pay.
This sort of move requires serious levels of trust by the American public in its institutions. That trust no longer exists. If those institutions fail yet again, and target the leader of Joe Biden's political opposition in doing so, this looks like banana republic stuff.
If Sandy Berger shoves classified documents in his pants, that's unqualifiedly a legal violation. But the president has the ability to declassify materials before leaving the White House. So this is even more dicey for the FBI and DOJ than usual, requiring real specifics.
BTW, for those claiming that a violation of law regarding classified documents would prevent Trump from running, nope -- the statutory penalties for any such violation do not overcome the Constitution definition of qualifications for eligibility.

In the world of serious foreign policy, America defends its interests muscularly because American interests promote our ideals in turn. In the world of BS foreign policy, America defends buzzwords that please liberals, then has to contradict itself when the pedal hits the metal.
For example, we shouldn't say that we are defending Ukraine because we must defend democracy in the face of autocracy; we should say we're doing it because we have an interest in preventing a hostile foreign power from enriching itself at the expense of European security.
When we say it's about democracy vs. autocracy, we look pretty foolish in doing business with allied regimes that aren't democratic; we also end up with egg on our face when Zelensky, as it turns out, isn't as clean as the driven snow.

.@RubinReport has now been suspended for posting news about @jordanbpeterson's suspension, all because we are not allowed to mention that until five minutes ago, Elliott Page, who is very very very male, was a female actress named Ellen Page. Here's Dave's statement:
BTW, there is literally no way to make a factual statement about this issue if that tweet gets me suspended.
Perhaps this is Twitter's chain strategy for banning: if you note that Twitter has suspended someone for mentioning the unmentionable, they erase you. Then someone else mentions that you have been suspended, and they are purged as well.

The only true path to nationalize the abortion issue is now Constitutional amendment. There will be no Congressional codification of Roe; Congress has no power to regulate the intrastate treatment of abortion, and the Court will likely clarify this in short order in future cases.
This means that all attempts by the media to turn the abortion debate into a mainstream 2022 or 2024 federal election issue are likely to fail, since abortion law will be made on the ground in the states.
Those who are most passionate about the issue are likely to fight that battle at the state level, where policies are already bifurcated: the pro-abortion crowd is far and away most passionate in NY and LA, etc., cities already turning themselves into abortion tourist attractions.

Del Rio's original comment: "I can look at images on the TV, people’s livelihoods are being destroyed, businesses are being burned down, no problem. And then we have a dust-up at the Capitol, nothing burned down, and we’re going to make that a major deal...
...I just think it’s kind of two standards, and if we apply the same standard and we’re going to be reasonable with each other, let’s have a discussion. That’s all it was. Let’s have a discussion.”

So he was saying that riots are bad, and we should use equivalent standards.

This would be absolute despicable insane lunacy if I saw it on CNN or MSNBC. To see it on Fox News is a complete betrayal of anything remotely resembling conservatism or decency.
Every element of this video is propagandistic, dangerous garbage. The report states that this biologically female child was choosing her gender BEFORE SHE COULD SPEAK. This is madness.
The report further states that Ryland’s parents began social transition at the age of five. This is child abuse. The vast majority of children who display signs of gender dysphoria desist over time.
