If #BlackAdam is the movie what will bring back to the level of excelence of the begining of DCEU/Snyderverse we don't know, but for sure they are aiming for that specific era for approach and marketing. [+]
But the real gravitas at the end have to appear in the movie, and we have to wait little to see and know if will be there. Among other things... #BlackAdam

The paid op-ed of the day just dropped, folks.
And BTW, is not "confusing". Whatever Zaslav is doing is already have a more clear focus than what hamada and Team H&O ever did.
'Joker' is the only R-rated movie ever to reach a billion dollars. Warner wanted to do a sequel is a thing well know, but IMO isn't a coincidence that todd waiting this moment after the merger t actually deliver the script.

That take about Batman vs Poison Ivy could be correct if 1) we would suck with Golden Age Batman and b) Ivy would be defined JUST by her enviremental aspect. People forget much of her character comes from a place of pain and abuse.
Some people love the take of "Ivy just wants to save the world" bit forget that the character isnt just that, and the plus she brings is what make her dangerous. And reduce Batman to the "white rich guy" is lazy and outdated, (+)
because we know he is a character of fiction and real billionaires would never care as Bruce did, what doesn't diminishes the symbol what Batman represents (plus he's not even rich anymore) and doesn't change that Ivy morals sharped the terrifying ways she wants to save the world

I love people selling the "reset" narrative while during all the event they are screaming "COURSE CORRECTION". But we know why they do that.
They are scared, aren't they? Good. They better be.
In a deeper read about this: "The remarks were not well received inside DC, according to multiple insiders who used the same word to describe members of the film division: “pissed.”"

I would do this tomorrow, but i've decide to do today: we need to talk about DC Films at Hall H, and everything else what happen later makes DC looking really, REALLY bad. #sDCc
For starters, it wasn't supose to even have panels for Shazam and Black Adam, but this are the only DC movies to be release this years and not take the opportunity to promote them would be a stupidity of AT&T times. #sDCc
And we have to blame Deadline and Deadline only for the fake Cavill Rumor. Whatever came from, or who said frist behind the scenes, doesn't matter, because the Why of is public knowledge for a long time. #sDCc
