/7 I have to say I'm very alarmed by the distortions I'm reading from #resisters in response to the Wash Post article reporting that an unidentified individual said the FBI was looking for nuclear documents. Please be accurate. The FBI has not FOUND any nuclear documents. We
/7 don't have any idea what they found & won't until the Judge unseals the motion the DOJ filed which includes a list of what the FBI found. For that matter, we don't know for sure what the FBI was looking for & will not know until the motion is unsealed. There is an affadavit
/7 that will reveal the DOJ's explicit reasons for seeking the search warrant & what they would be looking for. Even Trump & his lawyers will not have seen this until it is unsealed, although one can assume that Trump has an idea. After what happened in Cincinnati today, I think
/7 it's fair to say that people are all on the edge & ready to take this to the streets. Lately, I am getting the sense that many who are anti-Trump are feeling that way, too. I am not interested in seeing a civil war erupt. I have to believe there are quite a few who agree.
/7 Seeing tweets with mushroom clouds & total destruction don't make me feel real good either. Yes, it's a possibility, but what are you trying to do by posting pictures & reminding us? I grew up during the Cold War & dealt with nightmares for years. Have a little compassion for
/7 those of us who are finding all of this frightening beyond words. BTW, it's also possible that nuclear documents might refer to those belonging to another country & not necessarily ours. Words (& pictures) have consequences. Among those are the stability of society. Go ahead
/7 & express your feelings but report the news accurately. Please don't engage in hyperbole (either in words or pictures). I hope it's not just me, but I'd prefer to get some sleep over the next few days and at the moment, I'm not sure I'll be able to.
