In light of the events that happened at the YMCA in Port Townsend Washington where they banned an 80 year old woman for safeguarding children, we have decided to come together to show our support for Miss Julie Jaman. #LetJulieSwim
Single-sex spaces are the right of every woman and girl. It is absolutely necessary to protect these spaces for safeguarding, for dignity, and for respect. So we stand in solidarity with Julie Jaman. #LetJulieSwim
She should be commended, she should be rewarded for standing up for the safety of girls. Instead she has been unfairly and viciously maligned, slandered, and banned. She did what was right, she’s doing what anybody else would do, protecting girls. We applaud her.#LetJulieSwim
