A bit of house cleaning and putting my chips down in this thread. I think most of my readers know by now that I harp on moral clarity and clarity of purpose. Most of you also know that I am a recovering addict. Staying in recovery requires honesty and often hard choices.
The final bit of groundwork is the fact that many of you have heard me speak. Now that the stage is set, lets dive into the mess I tried to stay out of because of the above-mentioned facts. As is obvious from my daily threads, my twitter space home is @MriyaReport
I found the space shortly after the war began and listened a few times, finally figured out how to ask to be a speaker and the began adding what I could, and taking all I could knowledge wise. The place is an absolute treasure. I got to talk to a nuclear physicist earlier.
Previously I have gotten to talk to generals, politicians and various subject matter experts, made friends I hope will ride through time with me and learned about Ukraine, her people and her culture. The place has real value for me. However, there used to be an undercurrent of
fear there. The previous host was prone to aggression and hostility, often in ways I did not think was merited. Often resulting in people I had befriended and found value in exiting. It had a chilling effect. However, I kept my mouth shut because I thought at the end of the
day, we all shared the moral clarity and clarity of purpose. So, I looked away even when I heard audio that was obviously cyber bullying by the former host. I had a lot to lose, and maybe I should not have. However, the problem seemed to resolve itself.
The space renamed and things were rocking along. I even gave the former host a few mentions in my threads thinking wrongly the departure had been amicable. Obviously, it was not. Although I cannot say for sure, I can share what I think about where the ill-intent came from.
All those big names I have gotten to talk too, imagine having a name that can draw in those kinds of names. Thats pretty heady stuff. Feeling like the big man on campus can be as intoxicating as any drug I have ever done. Some people can manage it and keep their eye on the ball.
After all the space exists to support @MriyaAid and platform Ukrainian voices so that in the end Ukraine wins on Ukraine's terms. The previous host obviously could not do this and is now trying to undermine the space and charitable works it supports. All bullshit aside this is
wrong. The mission is helping Ukraine not personal enrichment or glory. Doxxing people and leveling false accusations because you are mad/ want to regain former levels of perceived status is not just wrong in this situation but risks Ukrainian lives. When a charity operates with
no overhead and has a 97% success rate in sourcing and delivering aid that is a good thing. Personalities aside, we should celebrate success and work together and if that is not possible at least refrain from actively trying to harm. For those of my readers who may not know where
to land on this issue, land where I am. I am not perfect, but I will not lie to you about who I think is keeping the focus on Ukraine. I visit @MriyaReport multiple times a week, often multiple times a day. Thats not going to change. I believe in the mission; I trust the staff
and @MelanieLake full frontal owning of the single fubar delivery attempt gives me full faith and confidence in @MriyaAid as a worthy vehicle to get aid to Ukraine. I have zero plans to change a damn thing except to block the former host about 10 seconds after I publish this

thousands of Russian troops march into captivity. How that loony would be congressman thinks Russia is about to have a smashing victory is utterly baffling. I am eternally thankful that @JohnBoozman @SenTomCotton and @RepFrenchHill are not delusional. However, with such an
important battle looming expect others like Geoffrey to try and fight the narrative battle here. This is just another battlefield of the war since public perception directly affects public support of continued western support. It's one of two reasons #WeAreNAFO exists.
