So let's talk reality. By now I am sure you have seen that Russia is threatening a complete rupture of relations with the Us including possible breaking off of formal diplomatic ties. What does this threat actually mean? Honestly, I don't think it means what Russia wants it to
mean. Russia is a bully who has not yet twigged to the fact that the world changed. For decades, Russia has built up the infrastructure of the threat. She corrupted media and elites, maintained the world's biggest nuclear arsenal including (allegedly) real dooms day
level systems designed to wreck entire continents with a single blast. By hook (cheap) and by crook (funding green movements) she weaned Europe off of non-Russian energy to create dependence on her gas and oil. With the removal of Nord Stream 2 sanctions in May 21 and completion
of construction in Sep 21 all the pieces were set. This however is when the world began to shift and Russia did not notice it. The buildup in Russia and Belarus backed by Russian energy dominance was supposed to be a big enough threat that the US and EU would back down and leave
leave Ukraine to Russia's tender imperial mercies. Except, the West did not back down. So, Russia invaded thinking that energy dominance, influence operations and a quick victory would limit the fall out and mute western response. We all know how that went. We are now six months
into a 3 day special military operation that has wrecked the Russian economy, more than decimated their military and see Russia continually ratchet up the threats. At this point Russia has threatened nuclear war, nuclear terrorism, global famine, territorial aggrandizement on a
continental scale, people freezing to deaths in their homes this winter because of an energy shortage... None of it has achieved what Russia wanted which was an end to Western Military support for Ukraine and Western leaders pushing Ukraine to sign over large and productive parts
of her territory and millions of her people. Breaking off relations is just the latest threat by a bully who does not realize that the rules have changed. These threats increasingly fall on deaf ears as they sound increasingly more and more like the desperate cries of an almost
cartoon like villain as the cops arrive, "I'll get you next time captain freedom"! as they wave their fist trying to keep agent Good Guy from putting the cuffs on. The only way out for Russia no longer involves any metric that can be spun as a win. Sure, she has wrecked Ukraine
physically, but bricks and mortar can be repaired. She has killed untold thousands, but the survivors have their eye on the ball because Russia has not been able to defeat the spirit that animates Ukraine. From the very first day of the war, Ukraine has said NO! Every blown up
Russian tank, the counter-offensive/ Russian retreat that pushed the Bear away from Kyiv, the impending battle of Kherson. Everywhere Ukraine says NO! Each NO! has brought with it more and more western aid because success breeds success. Even Germany has sent "some" heavy weapons
despite her addiction to Russian energy and pro-Eastern political cliche at the helm. Other nations have done far more, from Poland and the Baltics throwing everything they have into Ukraine's armories, to my own nation where wave after wave of support has been sent.
As I have said before, being an Arkansan and knowing that 1. @JohnBoozman @SenTomCotton and @RepFrenchHill support Ukraine and that Arkansas makes the game changing HIMARS is a source of personal pride. WPS Go HOGS! Collectively, Ukrainian valor, western arms and a unified NO!
to Russian threats should have taught Russia that there was a new way of doing things. That might makes right doesn't work when you are not mighty. Sigh, Russia is not the quickest student.... So instead of pulling out of Ukraine she keeps making threats against the West.
a threat many welcome. Like so many of my fellow #Fellas and other Ukraine supporters, we think such a rupture is long past due. That Russia should not be part of the global order until she reforms and confronts her past and role in a #GenocideOfUkrainians
So many of us have stopped listening to Russia, its always the same song. Much more interesting are the voices from Ukraine. Though a word of caution here. I do not know of any Ukrainians nearby to me. I think @Teoyaomiquu in Texas is the closest person I know. But for many of my
readers, Ukrainians will be members of your community. I saw a post by @krides here

I think we all should practice active listening with everyone in general, but Ukrainians in particular. Western cultures do tend to be a tad chauvinistic blinded by the
levels of wealth, comfort and security we have enjoyed since 1945. Getting outside of our comfort zone and actively listening is good for us. Its why I like to tune into @MriyaReport every day is basically a series of interactive ted talks. Ted talks that also help fund an
awesome charity @MriyaAid that just delivered another medical shipment to Ukraine and is starting another CAT tourniquet drive to help save Ukrainian lives.
Another worthy goal for donations is @georgian_legion . So far #WeAreNAFO has raised over $125K to help #feedthewolves and the amount is only going to go up because #NAFOexpanision is non-negotiable. Fear not Russia's threats, she will or she wont but neither must be allowed to
impact our support of Ukraine until she wins on her terms. Slava Ukraini! #russiaisaterrorisstate #RussianWarCrimes #Ukrainewillwin @mfa_russia<--- feel free to see yourself off the global stage because you are still losing.

So we are now 172 days into a #GenocideOfUkrainians What keeps you going and dedicated, what do you do to recharge, what spirit animates you? What is something on your bucket list? Four really complex questions I will try to answer about myself. First, I made a promise to use my
ability to write to tag my leaders @JohnBoozman @SenTomCotton @RepFrenchHill every day to let them know I want them to support Ukraine. It is my biggest gift to Ukraine. At this point I think I have written more articles on the war than any journalist outside of Ukraine. It is
an admittedly weird record I never saw myself achieving. At this point though it's pretty self-sustaining. I spend time on twitter listening to different voices, often listening on @MriyaReport to find inspiration for the next day's essay. Which brings up question number

Is Prigozhin dead? Dude has lives like a cat so I won't be surprised if he emerges alive, but man can I dream until he does. I never thought the world would have another Himmler but here we are. The W Orchestra or Wagner Group as they are often called in the West is supposedly a
PMC. In reality they are state controlled shock troops and international terrorists. They have been active in Africa, Syria and of course Ukraine. In Africa they are often used at cross purposes to their stated mission. Brought in to stop an insurgency, they instead engage in
levels of brutality to make the situation worse and thus create governmental dependence on Russia. Plus, in the chaos they will engage in wholesale looting. In the Darfur region of Sudan, Wagner is engaged in wholesale looting of the country's gold mines. Previously in Syria they

A bit of house cleaning and putting my chips down in this thread. I think most of my readers know by now that I harp on moral clarity and clarity of purpose. Most of you also know that I am a recovering addict. Staying in recovery requires honesty and often hard choices.
The final bit of groundwork is the fact that many of you have heard me speak. Now that the stage is set, lets dive into the mess I tried to stay out of because of the above-mentioned facts. As is obvious from my daily threads, my twitter space home is @MriyaReport
I found the space shortly after the war began and listened a few times, finally figured out how to ask to be a speaker and the began adding what I could, and taking all I could knowledge wise. The place is an absolute treasure. I got to talk to a nuclear physicist earlier.

So a bit about me, normally I wake up, do some quick doom scrolling, walk the dogs, make tea for the wife and then play some video games as I ruminate on what I will right today. A bit of a departure today. It seems my doom scrolling is stuck in ground hog day mode. All I have
seen upon waking for several days now is how unfair it is that Russians face a visa ban. The Russian government, rank and file Russians, talking heads etc. all moving in lock step: "its not fair, its collective punishment yada yada yada". Hooey, it is a pure garbage argument
because it is unfair, it is collective punishment and its deliberate. Russia is engaged in the worst form of collective punishment. Destroying an entire people. Genocide is at its root collective punishment imposed on entire peoples. Ditto smashing cities, kidnapping millions

Part 2 of allies (oops).

Perhaps that greatest example of this is the US and (not the UK lol) but Australia. If one goes, both go and it has been this way for over 100 years now. AUKUS is just the latest iteration of the most powerful set of allies the world has ever seen.
This is the kind of ally Putin wanted in Belarus. A strong even if militarily weak brother who would have his back. After all he was a strong ally to Lukashenko. But thats not how it turned out at all. Belarus it turns out is the third and most common type of ally. The weak one.
History is loaded with examples of allies who said all the right things, but when the chips were down found any number of reasons to be elsewhere doing other things. Just ask the Poles where the Western Allies were in 45. Thing is some weak allies simply never show up to be

Yesterday on @MriyaReport we all got to hear from @general_ben and if I understood him correctly, he is of a mind that Russia is stuck. Ukraine is growing stronger, Russia is at best treading water as she is caught in a rip tide pulling her farther and farther away from the
shores of victory. Then later in the day there were reports of an attack on a Belarussian air base/ air base used by Russia is Belarus? I might be wrong, but I don't think Ukraine wants to pick a fight to her north just as she is gaining momentum in the South. So to me this feels
like a false flag event. So why would Russia attack Belarus? I think we need to step in the time machine of history and go back a wee bit, and then perhaps back a whole lot farther. So to start off with I think Russia made four critical errors when she in invaded Ukraine on 24
