IPPIS was developed indigenously and runs on SOFTSUITE which is an enterprise solution developed solely by an indigenous IT firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. #ASUUWhy
IPPIS has the capacity to manage a limitless number of employees. The issue is therefore not the number of people the IPPIS can manage or enrol at any point in time. #ASUUWhy
The ASUU executives have been all over the place claiming IPPIS takes the autonomy of the university communities away. Is that a valid point? #ASUUWhy
Every Nigerian federal university is an independent community of its own, with its own instituted governing council and senate. It has independent control over its affairs and programme. #ASUUWhy
Every Federal University answers to itself alone, but if it is funded by the government, shouldn't @GovNigeria have control over how it discourses its own funds? #ASUUWhy
ASUU has been spreading rumors that the IPPIS system is centralised in Abuja and that in some event, people have been left with no choice than to travel to Abuja. #ASUUWhy
This is completely false. Every issue is solved locally. Even before IPPIS, payment issues at university levels were reffered to the school bursar. #ASUUWhy
With the IPPIS, the bursar is still the one who attends to all challenging issues, only that this time, it is online; the bursar collates the reports and send electronically. #ASUUWhy
It's all in the cloud and nobody has to go to Abuja. All of the range of reports are there; from tax issues to deductions and the whole process is seamless. #ASUUWhy
The bursars have the access and the bursars have a separate portal, allowing them to report these things. The issues are then resolved and the claims are then verified before disbursement is made. #ASUUWhy
It is a process. There are liaison offices, there is a chain of command and the IPPIS respects this. Why is ASUU now objecting to a platform that allows the government account for its own funds? #ASUUWhy
The process to incident resolution on IPPIS. 1. Raise an issue 2. The issue is assigned to the bursar/hr of each institution 3. The hr/bursary verifies if this is an incident or human error. If it is an incident s/he approves and escalates to the IPPIS HELPDESK #ASUUWhy
4. IPPIS Helpdesk works on resolution 5. Incident is resolved.
The lifespan of an incident is dependent on the kind of issue and if there's need for verification or investigation. #ASUUWhy
Most people don't want to wait. The moment they complain and don't get an immediate response they got to Abuja. #ASUUWhy
IPPIS runs on an application developed by Nigerians. The solution is for Payroll and Human Resources.
The FG has save a lot of money by deploying IPPIS. #ASUUWhy
The government is running on technology like we all have wanted.
Why would anyone be against this. If you have issues that need resolution raise them. #ASUUWhy

We need to ask ASUU why its insisting it has taken industrial action over the enrollment into the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) scheme. #ASUUWhy
The questions are, why is ASUU afraid of the IPPIS initiative, what are their reasons behind their reasons behind their objection? Can employees dictate to employers? #ASUUWhy
These questions can perhaps give us a glimpse into why the industrial action is still lingering and why tertiary institution remain closed #ASUUWhy

Nigeria is indeed in the process of another Election circle which is usually been termed as political seasons in local parlance and it always comes and go but each with it unique rhetoric mostly based on ethnic, religious and zoning considerations
And 2023 elections would not be an exception to these these factors mentioned but interestingly and uniqueness of this circle is the redical shift from party politics to personality politics which is a welcome development in Nigerians yearning for better..
We are in receipt of credible intelligence that the same forces who have been championing a well-coordinated and richly funded campaign against the Hon. Minister of @FMoCDENigeria@DrIsaPantami , are now unto the next stage of their diabolic project.
This time around, the forces of evil are shopping for willing partners as well as their usual avenues, to release doctored videos purporting to show the Honourable Minister in an alleged compromising condition, as a way of creating injury on his image.
