With Interchain Security in sight, it’s time for an update on Neutron’s launch sequence.
Through this process, Neutron will be hardened into the most secure smart-contract platform on Cosmos.
Learn how, and when to get involved below 👇
2/ September 19th - Oak Security Audit 🔍
Neutron’s codebase and documentation, by then fully open-source, will undergo an extensive review by @SecurityOak.
Oak Security has experience with Cosmos and CosmWasm, a strong track record & no mentions on @RektHQ's leaderboard 😉
3/ October - Quark Testnet 🔬
We will be launching Quark - Neutron’s first, and most experimental testnet - soon after the start of the audit.
Quark is a parallel, open-source security review where everyone is welcome to poke holes in our code and breaking things is celebrated.
4/ Q4 2022 - Audit Report and Codebase Upgrade ⚗️
Once the audit report is in, any vulnerability found by Oak Security or on Quark will be thoroughly patched. The codebase will be upgraded, and the documentation updated.
This is where things get really interesting 👇
5/ Q4 2022 - Hadron Testnet 🧪
Hadron's features and APIs will be significantly more reliable. While the search for vulnerabilities will continue, Hadron will be stable enough for developers to start building and testing Interchain-Enabled smart-contracts 🔥
6/ Q4.22/Q1.23 - Baryon Testnet 🔭
Baryon will launch upon completion of Interchain Security’s incentivized testnet and the publication of an upgrade proposal to the Cosmos Hub.
Interchain Secured, Full Featured, Baryon will be the final stepping stone to Neutron's mainnet.
7/ January - Community Onboarding 👩🏭
As mainnet approaches, Neutron’s community hangouts will open. #Cosmonauts will find resources and opportunities to get involved directly with Neutron. Our community is resourceful, and we want to empower and reward active participation.
8/ Q1 2023 - Neutron Mainnet 🚀
Once Cosmos Hub enables Interchain Security, Neutron will launch, and dock with its validator set. All systems will come online: IBC, ICA, ICQ, $NTRN...
Mainnet is just the beginning. Stay tuned 😉

Preparations for mainnet are almost complete, and Baryon represents another significant milestone on our journey.
Here’s everything you need to know 👇
2/ Baryon is Neutron's Persistent Replicated Security Testnet, running on the @HyphaCoop Replicated Security devnet and offering a precise replica of the mainnet setup.
For developers, Baryon provides the test environment to launch their applications and allow users to interact.
3/ Neutron's Developer Documentation can be found here:
After six months of intense buidling, Neutron is almost ready to ship ✴️
With Interchain Security and a whole new year just around the corner, there’s no better time to look back to an eventful year in Cosmos 👇
2/ It all began on the @cosmoshub forum with Prop 72:
To bring Interchain Security to market, @jelenaaa____ from @informalinc proposed supporting DeFi projects looking to launch on the Hub.
@P2Pvalidator answered the call first with Neutron and the rest is history:
3/ Prop 72 was a major achievement for the Hub, allowing it to remain minimal while bootstrapping its own economic zone and, through Neutron’s cross-chain smart-contracting platform, attracting top DeFi protocols such as @LidoFinance.
Neutron will be the first smart-contract platform to be secured by millions of $ATOMs staked on @cosmoshub, making it the most secure platform in the ecosystem, and a Top-10 Proof-of-Stake blockchain.
Cross-chain interoperable smart-contracts make appchains better ✴️
If this sounds counter-intuitive, read on:
In this Blueprint, we introduce three possible implementations of an Interchain Money-Market, and the benefits they bring to the appchain world.
2/ Let’s start with the basics:
Money Markets (MM) are DeFi protocols that enable users to deposit collateral and borrow against it.
To ensure they remain solvent, Money Markets tracks asset prices and liquidate positions before they become insolvent.
3/ Money Markets are crucial DeFi building blocks:
They release equity into the zone’s economy, enable leverage and improve the expressiveness of the markets: through them, users can take on long and short positions, which they can use to hedge their positions.
