Historically I have always liked and respected @SamHarrisOrg. I have no personal beef with him. We probably agree on 95% of issues. However, his Trump hatred is off-putting because it perfectly captures what happens to a parasitized mind infected with blind hatred. Rationality
dies. Temperance dies. Proportionality dies. Logic dies. Reason dies. I explained to Sam when I appeared on his show how perfectly rational human beings could apply specific decision rules in choosing to vote for Trump. Over the years, I have repeatedly explained that whilst
Trump has countless personal faults that are truly grotesque, in a democracy founded on deontological and non-violable first principles, we can NEVER set these aside for any reason. Tyrants have utilized the "existential urgency" argument to engage in horrifying acts throughout
history in the EXACT manner that Sam is willing to set aside FOUNDATIONAL principles because he believes that Trump is a "unique once in a generation existential danger." It turned out that Trump did not cause a nuclear holocaust; he did not tank the economy; he did not destroy
democracy; he did not institute martial law. Any logical and rational person would conclude that despite Trump's endless personality flaws, he instituted policies that both Sam and me would agree with. Yet Sam's pathological hatred of Trump causes him to lose any commitment to
the principles that have allowed our societies to flourish. No, you don't set aside the presumption of innocence principle because Kavanaugh is "innately evil." No, you don't support the deplatforming of Trump from Twitter because he is "innately evil." No, you don't support
the mainstream media's silencing of the Hunter Biden story because "it's too dangerous to allow Trump to win a second term." I'm astonished that someone of Sam's intellectual and moral abilities could have sunk to such a depraved level of consequentialism. To reiterate, I like
Sam and I respect him. BUT, I love truth more. I love deontological virtues more. [I'll read this thread on my show shortly.]

Important new advances in science. 1) Men can get pregnant, menstruate, and have abortions. 2) National borders are racist. 3) The scientific method is one of many ways of knowing. 4) Obesity is not unhealthy. It is body positive. 5) Climate change will soon end life on earth.
6) Meritocracy perpetuates power dynamics that marginalize people of color. 7) Critical race theory is scientific. 8) Heterosexuality is learned. 9) Terrorism is caused by climate change stressors. 10) Evolutionary psychology is quack science.
11) Feminist mathematics is an important subdiscipline of mathematics. 12) There are no human universals. Every human phenomenon is constrained by its cultural context. 13) Inflation is largely caused by Putin. 14) The law of supply and demand does not apply to energy prices.
Dear @JK_Rowling, your position vis-a-vis @MattWalshBlog is perfectly erroneous. One does not temper their defense of truth in order to placate an ethos of faux-victimology (i.e., that Macy Gray has been "bullied" enough). There is NOTHING more important than free expression
especially when debating such an important issue in the public arena. Ms. Gray does not get a pass regarding her flip flopping about what constitutes womanhood. Surely, I would have expected you to recognize this given your stated position on this matter. Ms. Gray does not need
to be infantilized. I have received innumerable death threats throughout my public career but I never sought your pity or defense. It is part of the territory. If Ms. Gray chooses to state that "being a woman is a vibe," other people have EVERY right to question her position.
Dear @MacyGraysLife, Please allow me to offer you some unsolicited advice. There is nothing more valuable in an individual's life than their integrity. A fundamental feature of having integrity is to doggedly defend truth at great personal cost. A few days ago, you did the
right thing during your chat with @piersmorgan. You defended the dignity of women by recognizing a reality that the average two-year-old knows, namely what "woman" means in a sexually reproducing species. After you were undoubtedly attacked by ultra-woke people, you
backtracked and acquiesced to the outrage mob by restating your position that being a woman "is a vibe." No it isn't and you know it. You are harming women by being this weak. You are murdering truth by being this weak. Look to @jk_rowling for inspiration. She has defended
Hey, do you remember when @jordanbpeterson and I warned the world about the possible ill consequences of bill C-16 in front of the @SenateCA? Well, Jordan has now been suspended from Twitter for so-called deadnaming a trans actor. This is happening in the 21st century. We should
all seek to be kind and polite as a default value. But it’s never a good idea for governments or companies to serve as the arbiters of hurt feelings. I was banned from my @facebook account for 24 hours for taking a photo of two published books at a bookstore. This reflex of
having third parties sanitize the world on our behalf is perfectly antithetical to the natural dynamics of a free society. I get attacked, insulted, and harassed on countless occasions online. It is regrettable but it’s part of life. I brush it off and move on. I don’t need third
