He references the auto sears perps are placing on Glock 19s to modify them to fire automatically, which renders it a "machine gun."
4/ Luger says Minnesota is seeing an increase in drug related violence. He says drug dealers are using "militaristic gear" in their trade.
5/ Charges were recently filed against 10 violent drug dealers in Rochester, MN who were using high powered firearms in their organization.
6/ This week, Luger said two elite ATF special response teams conducted joint law enforcement operations in Minnesota.

11/
Another case involves 4 defendants who targeted and lured rideshare drivers for carjacking (we've posted extensively on this). Their actions included violent assaults, pistol whipping, and threats to kill the victims.
Luger says many of the victims were immigrants.
12/ Another case is Saladin Saline (sp), a federal weapons convict who after being released came to #Mpls. He shot at least 7 people in a few days and killed one of them.

22/ Huffman touts the #Mpls park system, but says too many people are "too fearful" to use the parks due to shots fired [no mention of the encampments, needles and other crimes allowed in the parks].
23/ Huffman said 60% of the gun violence is concentrated in 2 of the 5 precincts.
83% of the people shot this year are black.
Huffman said in addition to other arrests, enforcement details have yielded 120 guns off the street as well as 4000 fentanyl pills recovered.

[Which we've been proving for years].
