My teen daughter was approached by ‘Marcia’ on Discord, due to my daughter’s determination to speak out on gender issues.

My girl is Aspergers & feels confused about her gender identity BUT understands it’s a confusion rather than a concrete reality. 2/7

‘Marcia’ told shared her story: of feeling like she was ‘out of sync’ with others & her own body. Of going by ‘Marcus’. Of taking testosterone for a “long time” & how it “messed her up”. Of cutting off her breasts.

Of regretting it all. 3/7

Marcia didn’t want others to go through the same horrors & spoke openly about being fast-tracked through transition. She spoke to other young people online, gently suggesting - just think twice, just be careful. 4/7

The trans community piled on her. Suggesting it had just not worked out for her, to stop speaking out b/c they wanted to “live their dream”.
The hate became worse & she was soon labelled the expected ‘transphobic’.
Not expected by Marcia. 5/7

Marcia confided in my daughter that she was ‘struggling’. With the irreparable changes she’d allowed on her body & the outright hatred from her ‘community’.
A week later Marcia’s account was deleted & a mutual friend told my daughter: Marcia killed herself 6/7

The term ‘suicide’ is used as argument for transitioning to emotionally manipulate young people, parents, the public & policy-makers.
Facts/stats don’t support the claims.
The hidden truth is suicide by detransitioners.
