"A high-energy laser (HEL) from Lockheed Martin has been delivered to the US Navy for installation on warships..

eurasiantimes.com/lockheed-deliv…
"The weapon system, officially known as the High Energy Laser with Integrated Optical-Dazzler and Surveillance (HELIOS), is a 60+ kW-class laser"

A continuous-wave HEL beam is a focused ray of optical radiation that delivers heat to a target’s surface and destroys it."
"The high-energy laser beams’ instantaneous time-of-flight prevents target from gaining first strike...since cost of engagement can be reduced to the expense of running the generator that supplies necessary current, HELs operate at a cost-per-shot basis that is almost zero."
"The HELIOS system’s multi-mission capabilities go beyond merely a high-energy laser since they also contain a long-range Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Counter UAS-mounted ISR (C-ISR) Dazzler. It makes use of a laser that is more powerful than 100KW."
"Directed Energy Weapons have emerged as one of the most advanced and sought-after categories of weapons by advanced militaries around the world."
"Laser weapons offer unprecedented levels of precision and engagement speed for naval warfighters.

The lasers simplify logistics and make ships and their crews safer because they are not dependent on conventional fuels or gunpowder-based weapons used on ships"

Cochin Shipyard is raring to build another indigenous Aircraft Carrier.

It has been 13 years in the making, with 500 companies involved, big, and small ..about 100 MSMEs.

idrw.org/cochin-shipyar…
The learnings are immense. Today, India is among just 5 or 6 countries which can build an Aircraft Carrier.

Built at a cost of Rs 20000 crores, it is 262 meters long, 62 meters wide and displaces 45000 tons.
* The technology for carrying, arming & recovering fighter aircraft.
* 15 decks
* Multispeciality Hospital
* 2300 compartments
* 8 gigantic power generators

What could have been built elsewhere in 10 years, took us 13 years. But we also shaved off 2 1/2 billion from the estimated 5 1/2 billion dollars it could have cost to build it elsewhere.

UK signs agreement to return Pak criminals, failed visa seeks etc.
dawn.com/news/1705493/u…
". “Last year, the Pakistani government was presented with this deal and refused to sign it, because fundamentally it will allow serious criminals to be deported to Pakistan without critical information sharing. This will present huge problems for Pakistan.”
"Mr Amjad cited the case of Sohail Ayaz, a convicted pedophile and child abuser who was deported to Pakistan from the UK.... In 2019, he was arrested for the rape and assault of upto 30 minors, despite being convicted of similar offences by a UK court in 2008."

"I make no apology for removing dangerous foreign criminals and immigration offenders who have no right to remain in the UK.

The British public have quite rightly had enough of people abusing our laws and gaming the system so we can’t remove them."
"Our new Borders Act will go further & help end the cycle of last-minute claims & appeals that can delay removals.

Pakistan nationals make up the 7th largest number of foreign criminals in prisons in England & Wales totalling..3% of the foreign national offender population"

#WhatsTheTruth
Suki Kanwar sits in shock.

She is the wife of Chail Singh, 40, the ‘upper-caste’ school principal accused in the death of a 9-year-old Dalit boy, Inder Meghwal, from Jalore.

“Tension mein usko mata aati rehti hai"

theprint.in/india/no-hush-…
"Questions have also arisen in (as)Inder Meghwal had been undergoing treatment for a middle ear infection for several years,which caused the formation of a painful abscess behind his eye, blockages in the brain & eventually triggered sepsis in the days leading up to his death."
Singh’s family denies the caste angle too, saying the principal “made a mistake by paying the Meghwals money for Inder’s treatment”.

Chail Singh’s father Ushk Singh, 70, said, “Usne paise dekar galti kar di (he made a mistake by giving them money).”

The minority Ashraf of Arbi/Irani/Turkic (15%), who were oppressing & suppressing native Indian Pasmanda Muslims(85%) are deeply disturbed by @BJP4India outreach to them.

Pasmanda are used as storm troopers & cannon fodder by racist Ashrafs.
outlookindia.com/national/the-r…
Ashrafs have been demanding concessions from the State in the name of Muslims but gobbling up most concessions, which should have actually gone to Pasmandas, as clearly spelt out by @FayazAhmadFyzie.

Unbelievably, majority native Pasmanda Muslims have no representation on

the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and very nominal presence, if at all,on the Boards of major Muslim institutions

Ashrafs, who have kept Pasmandas religiously brainwashed, now fear that the numbers which gave them legitimacy, an obedient votebank and the

"his grandfather, a.. well-off & influential person in Sindh, went missing in the turmoil before Partition.Later his grandfather’s body was found cut up in pieces in a sack, under a railway bridge.“Till today,” Niranjan said,“no one.. talks about this.”
thewire.in/history/for-si…
" violence in Sindh is much less compared to what happened in Punjab where there was no family without its own horror story.

This big difference is the main reason why people who left Sindh always considered themselves the lucky ones & did not feel they had a story to tell."
"What somehow slipped out of this broad context was that while Punjab and Bengal were split in two, Sindh was given intact to Pakistan.

The Sindhis who moved to India had no homeland to call their own. They left their only homeland behind. And when the minority community."
