Abstract: Swarm AI is a predictive biomimetic AI enabling effective and efficient group-based decisions for humans. Its potential for greater good has not yet been fully unlocked.

๐
Background: I joined CryptoSwarm for two main reasons. Firstly, I saw an opportunity for financial profit. Secondly, as a human being interested in sustainability, biomimicry and AI, the underlying technology has plenty of applications to build a more sustainable world
๐
I would recommend others to join because CryptoSwarm seems like a great tool for financial investment, but also to learn more about its technology and to widen its field of applications.
๐
I envision a great future for @cryptoswarmai. So far, it has only been known to a few insiders or curious people. The marketing of the project could be better but hey, won't word of mouth do its job?
๐
My favorite part of the community is that its members understand the biomimetic aspect of the technology and its promises. My least favorite part of the community is that it is still quite small at the moment, so there are few interactions in the different channels.
๐
My key takeaways: 1) "Classical" AI can be a dangerous if unregulated or programmed by people with social bias. Moreover, some fear that from a certain point, AI will regard human beings as unnecessary.
๐
My take is that if we respect AI, program it with ethical guidelines - who said Asimov's laws of robotics - and if we create a switch-off button, an ethical AI can help us solve a lot of today's world most prominent issues.
๐
E.g., a recent experiment showed that an AI was recently more efficient than top-level experts for wealth redistribution in the world.
E.g., an AI has been recently used to improve waste and garbage management in middle-sized cities.
๐
2) Now meet Swarm AI. Biomimetic innovations are often the most groundbreaking ones. Copying the nature is called biomimicry and I mean, who doesn't like nature?
๐
Biomimetic architecture has been proven to be more resistant to natural disasters, biomimetic systems based on fractals have proven to be super efficient for a wide range of topics and let's all remember how Newton discovered the force of gravity - by observing nature.
๐
Here are some problems Swarm AI could help solving:
- reaching consensus within political systems, corporate systems or DAOs
- finding appropriate solutions in case of emergency situations such as natural disasters
- fruitful negotiation consensus for geopolitical conflicts
๐
- making the voice of scientists or experts more taken into account when dealing with any issues
- predicting the most probable futures to anticipate the challenges to tackle
๐
3) Now, I'm not an expert in AI properly speaking, so what do I know? My area of expertise is mostly sustainability...
Corollary: we're on @Twitter, so it's not our data.๐คญ
๐
โ two models for Networks: 1) Client/Server model: total authority to the server, fast&secure, possible censorship.
2) P2P model: no central authority, can be insecure slow and difficult to scale, but trustless and censorship resistant.
๐
โ trust issues in P2P networks. It can be illustrated by "the Byzantine Generals problem".
Those issues are lack of identity, cyclic dependency and distributed trust data.
Let's simplify it by "what about the decentralization of trust"?
