Adani group didn't approach the NDTV management showing any interest in buying any stake. They knew that their offer would be rejected. Instead, they took another route.

The Group bought nearly 100% stake in RRPR.

This company already owned 29% stake in NDTV. Company's investments automatically fell in the hands of Adani and so did NDTV.

Businesses are no less interesting than the game of chess.
