Ok, time to christen a brand new hashtag: #DanAndrewsCrimes

He's evaded a lot of scrutiny in the past 8 years. Time to put an end to it.

I went with "crimes" because it covers social, political and criminal matters. And why not start with a scandal involving all 3 - #RedShirts
#RedShirts is in the news again, because police whistle-blowers have gone to IBAC with an allegation that senior police may have intervened in the process of justice to protect Dan Andrews MPs.

This follows on from presumably the same whistleblower going to The Age last year
Also reported today, Liberal MP David Davis had a copy of the complaint dropped on his doorstep overnight. Now to me, that smacks of one hell of a frustrated whistle-blower. One who tried the media, doesn't have faith in IBAC, and wants all bases covered. Quite extraordinary...
I won't revisit the timeline in text, I'll just post this part picture from today's Herald Sun article. One thing missing is the 2018 election, which happened after police investigation began. So of course they couldn't comment during the election campaign.

How convenient.....
#TheSocialCrime - The initial #RedShirts whistleblower was arrested, strip searched, thrown in a cell, and interrogated, along with the other "underlings." Yet none of Dan's MPs were ever arrested or even questioned. Despicable political aristocracy. "Suffer the little peasants"
#ThePoliticalCrime - There are multiple aspects here. Let's start with the one that should really anger you: cheating.

This "theft" allowed Labor to campaign with more resources than the other parties, a clear advantage in an election. That's cheating in my book. Non negotiable.
The payback: After getting busted, Labor paid back SOME of the money(more below) and claimed it was all good now. No, it's bloody not.

Try robbing a bank, getting busted, giving the money back, and see how sympathetic the police & judge are to you. Send us a postcard from jail.
Now to add insult to injury, Dan Andrews spends a million TAXPAYER dollars in legal fees fighting the Ombudsman's investigation(another $250k)

In the end, only upper house MPs were investigated, and only money from those MPs staffers was repaid. The actual bill is MUCH more.
Oh look, more insult, more injury: In the IBAC #OpWatts investigation into Labor's branch stacking activities, they uncovered that Labor was using the same old trick to fund its own internal electioneering activities. But this time Dan refused to pay back a single cent. Dodgy AF.
#TheLegalCrime - Labor actually submitted fraudulent timesheets for these staffers, so on paper it looked legit, but in the field, these staffers were doing electioneering for the Labor party. That's a clear admission they knew they were doing wrong. They even created a fall guy.
But was John Lenders ever made to take a fall? Nope. The ombudsman has investigated twice now, and declared convictions are unlikely. It doesn't mean crime wasn't committed, it means exactly what it says. This happens a lot in the legal system, and it's just something to suck up.
Just to put this in real life terms, imagine you filled in a dodgy expenses voucher for your job, to claim money for petrol you either never used, or used for personal matters? Do you reckon you'd still have a job? If the $ amount was huge, do you reckon the cops might be called?
Frankston MP Geoff Shaw actually did this while in Parliament, and guess which shameless prick not only demanded that he pay back every cent, but also called the cops over it, and then demanded Shaw be kicked out of Parliament for it?

You know who it was.....
So that's the scandal dealt with, lets deal with the possible cover-up. Did senior members of Victoria police interfere to prevent investigations or arrests taking place? The VicPol whistleblower sure thinks so. If so that's further political crime, potentially even actual crime.
It's not widely known that Daniel Andrews Chief of Staff as opposition leader was Brett Curran, who came from VicPol and has since returned there. Even less commonly known is that one of his MPs Shaun Leane has a brother Stephen, who was assistant commissioner during all this.
While these connections alone are proof of nothing, they are quite valid reasons for suspicion. And especially in light of the many other VicPol scandals that must have had knowledge or approval of police senior command. Lawyer X and the faked breath tests to name 2 awful ones.
Justice should not only be done, it should be seen to be done. Which is why Judges often recuse themselves from matters.

The same goes for impartiality. And here we have a situation where it's hard to see, and evidence suggesting we didn't get it either. Quite a stench, IMHO.
That concludes #DanAndrewsCrimes #RedShirts edition. Please use this tag any time you see any further crimes, so we can collate them in one place. And if you want me to do a thread about one you know of, please let me know and I'll add it on the list if it's not there already.

Ok so it's time for another #OpWatts thread. Just waiting for the #IBAC stream to come up. It's Carr vs Somyurek today, and I'm anticipating many spicy moments. Will be doing the usual abbreviations to condense the commentary, listed below. More may be added during the day.
CR - Comm. Redlich
CA - Counsel Assisting
W - Witness
MK - Marlene Kairouz
RS - Robin Scott
NE - Nazih Elasmar
KV - Kaushaliya Vaghela
RG - Rick Garotti
HH - Hussein Haraco
SACOV - Somali Australian Council of Victoria
BMR - Bracks/Macklin Report
CCB - Corrupt, Cheating Bastards
I do hope Chris Carr has recovered from his bicycle crash injuries, and I would also like to dispel the rumour that he was involved in a hit and run by a blonde lady driving a Comcar. There's absolutely no evidence of that been provided to me. Stop flooding my DM's.

Those of you following #SlugGate will know about "Community Chef" the direct competitor to iCook foods. Ian Cook claims he was run out of business by ppl linked to Community Chef.

Have a look at the diligence done before Vic DHHS took ownership of this "non profitable" company. Image
Community Chef was initially founded by Albo and our #DictatorDan as health minister. Along the way, councils took shareholder stakes in it, and then it was eventually sold back to Vic DHHS as a basket case, for $1 per share I believe. It was worthless, as it never made profit.
Or did it........cos someone who looked them over more thoroughly than Pitcher Partners saw they were making money on the front end via food sales, but in the back end, admin section, millions and millions were "lost."

And that's despite tens of millions of grants kicked in.

Ok it's #IBACsummary time and wheeeew boy, was it an interesting day. The usual disgusting behaviours were canvassed, and many of the usual suspects were mentioned, so I'll try and focus on the new stuff we learned, and today's witness, Kirsten Psaila.
#OpWatts
First up, Chris Carr fronted up looking like he had a face to face argument with an old fashioned push mower, which turned out to be a bicycle accident. But after a brief apology for his appearance, he proceeded to give somebody else a bloody face, and poor old Kirsten got it.
Kirsten's Twitter bio clearly has "living on #DinduNuffin land" but Carr was having none of that, being armed with a bagful of receipts that resembled Santa's sack in a good year. And possibly Kelly's Monday indignation fest put him and the Commish in an impatient mood.

So it's #IBACtime again. This will be the #OpWatts thread for the day. Today's witness is Kirsten Psaila, electoral officer for Marlene Khairouz, and not in any way a branch stacker, although that opinion may be shattered by day's end.

Abbreviations list in the next tweet.
CR - Comm. Redlich
CA - Counsel Assisting
W - Witness
AS - Adem Somyurek
MK - Marlene Kairouz
RS - Robin Scott
NE - Nazih Elasmar
KV - Kaushaliya Vaghela
HH - Hussein Haraco
SACOV - Somali Australian Council of Victoria
BMR - Bracks/Macklin Report
CCB - Corrupt, Cheating Bastards
Additional abbreviations may be added during the thread. WC will be used for witness counsel, if he intervenes.

And with that, the stream is up! We'll be going through witness formalities for a few minutes, then it's over to Mr Carr, for this mornings castigations.

OK just a quick #IBAC primer before the hearing. Today's witness is Kirsten Psaila, who worked in Khairouz office, and likely did a lot of factional work for her. The previous witness Christine Kelly hinted at it, and IBAC has a habit of using the 1st witness to burn the 2nd.
She's likely to get a lot of questions about her use of public time, ballot renewals, non genuine members, forgeries. And the "macedonian faction" might get brought up a few times, Labor loves targetting ethnic groups for support. Maybe some grants will get discussed again.
Big names that might come up will be Kaushalia Vaghela(again) plus Scott and Kairouz(already "resigned"). Possibly not much about Somyurek, they seem to have moved the focus to Khairouz for now, then presumably Scott after that.

Ok, time for today's #IBACsummary from #OpWatts. In the witness box was Christine Kelly, and boy was she cranky about it😂

Kelly's history was working in Marlene Khairouz office as an electoral officer. ALP member of 34 years, father was also an electoral officer.
She knew absolutely the difference between constituent work, and party political work, and made great pains to explain she never did factional work on the public dime, and even insisted all her workmates did too, despite evidence to the contrary.
Before proceedings started, Mr Carr stated for the record that IBAC had made a request for documents to the ALP, and they were denying that request, despite agreeing to cooperate with IBAC as part of the Bracks/Macklin report findings. More on this later.
